Although I can't be positive I would bet the bank sells the items left if they can. Other than that they probably pick out what they want first. I hope this isn't happening to you?

I'm so sorry! I can't imagine how hard it must be for them. We are getting by by the skin of our teeth. Have they talked to their mortgage company about maybe gettting their payments lowered. Just last Friday our's finally agrred to submit it. Not sure we'll get it but praying.

I would agree they'd sell your items or put it curbside. You could always put the items in storage or in store your things at a friend or relatives home. I hope you are not going thru this, I'm sorry if you are as I totally understand how rough it is out there.

They throw away whatever is left behind inside the house when really they should donate it to better causes. I know this because my uncle used to work as the person who would empty and clean the foreclosed houses. Sometimes though he would try to take home some things he could collect. One time he brought a really beautiful nightstand.
Anyways, I was angry to hear how things that were once precious to the individual who lived their, were being thrown away like useless items.
