I've never been to Vietnam but one of my best friends is Vietnamese. Once he went back to Vietnam for vacation and he bought me a beautiful crystal bracelet so I think Vietnam is a wondeful country As for me, I live in the United States and I think the U.S. is a great place. The weather here is nice and I love the food here so I love living in United States.

Hi luukimlong2000! I have been to Vietnam twice already. Both for leisure only. I can't forget how difficult it is to cross the roads with all those motorcycles passing by. A few years back, I went to Vietnam in October just in time for the Cham festivities. I enjoyed watching the traditional rituals presented. I have been to Ho Chi Minh City which is a big tourism center in Vietnam. I enjoyed the sites there especially the cultural villages. Saigon Water Park is also nice. I fell in love with Nha Trang's white sand beach. I wish to go back to Vietnam soon.

I agree with you. When you visit Vietnam you will spend less money than visit some other countries because the food is cheap, the hotel not very expensive, and the people I think so nice. Nha trang is one of the beautiful beach in Vietnam which attract many people arround the world to visit. Wish the nextime you visit Vietnam, you will have a very great time. Thanks for your sharing.

Hi luukimlong2000! I'm from the Philippines, but I'm living here in Shenzhen,China and same as you I also love my country, the Philippines. I guess the part of Vietnam called Lao Cai is near Kunming China. I'm not so sure though if that's the one, but I heard from my husband when he was assigned at Kunming before that there's a part of Vietnam that is near Kunming. I have read from Reader's Digest that Vietnam is famous for Pho noodles. I would love to travel there someday and taste a Pho noodle made by a Vietnamese. There are Chinese here who also makes that but I like to taste it from where it originated. :) I hope someday I could visit your country.

I haven't yet visited Vietnam but I have heard some wonderful things about it from other travelers. I met a Dutch traveler that recommended visiting Vietnam, Laos and Thailand. These days I think that Vietnam is a safe country for traveling. I know that the people are friendly. Vietnam has a good train system. I imagine many of its people are poor. It is the sort of destination perfect for the independent traveler. My home country is England and it is situated along with the rest of the United Kingdom in Europe. The capital city is London and it has famous sights like the River Thames, Tower Bridge, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. There are many country villages which have some old cottages. The coastline has some beautiful places like Lyme Regis in Dorset and the White Cliffs of Dover in Kent. I hope to visit Vietnam one day possibly arriving there from China by train.

VIetnam has more then 60 cities and provinces. Have a lot of things to visit, to eat, to play. I think Vietnamese food is the best. We have variety kind of foods, fruit. Pho is the special one, the most tranditional food of Vietnam.

I have never been to Vietnam but since I am Vietnamese, I know I will love Vietnam. I hope to visit soon, I have family there and I would like to get to know my family and culture. Though, my parents have visit Vietnam several of times, I couldn't go because of school but I am planning to go next year during Winter perhaps. I can't stand hot weather and since Vietnam is humid/hot I am not sure how I will handle it. I am born and raised in the United States and it is good but the economy isn't going so well now a days.
