I know why I do not try all the new earning ideas that come along. . .

It is because of disappointment, and my personal reputation if I recruit others. Website tester, that was supposed to launch with "jobs" this evening just went poof. I have great sympathy for all those people who have that experience with so many ptc sites, but I bet we will all be out there tomorrow, looking for a new way to earn some more money. Do you try lots of new opportunities? When was the last time you were disappointed? Of course, on the other hand, Side Tick was very rewarding.

hi GardenGerty I am still fuming as I got sucked in to the same survey sites I had given up before as the poster said they are the tops, they will qualify everyone. not so, I tried all five, did the bad word bad word surveys almost to the end, sorry but you are not qualified to finish this, all five the same story. I let my delete finger do the walking. lo lol lol. I think that a lot of sites for surveys want young to middle age, nobody beyond maybe fifty and with goodly bank accounts. so bah humbug . I will stay with Mysurvey.com and Harris Poll.]

I keep hearing Opinion Outpost is good as well, but I hardly ever qualify for any surveys.

You're exactly right Hatley...if you don't qualify, you're out. I've tried these years ago and never qualified for what they were looking for. You do need to have a nice big income as far as I'm concerned, and some technical knowledge or at least really up to date on all new trends. That's not me.

If you stay with MyLot, read the TOS and Guidelines, making quality discussions and posts you will earn here. This site is for real. It paid me today. I hope you enjoy yourself here and make lots of friends.

For very little effort and for putting up with some spamming, you can earn at least $15 per month. I know some who earn as much as $100. I am in between.

Well I've got invites from at least a dozen people, and my policy is to go with whoever asks me first. So maybe I'll sign up. I just have to find the durn invite. :D

I don't try a lot of new opportunities, and the ones I do try - I am cautious with and about. Honestly, I can't afford to put my time into these shady sites that will not pay you! Besides, the system that I currently have going, works for me pretty well. I am rarely the first person to try new money making schemes, because they usually are just that - SCHEMES.
I feel bad for some of these people who are scammed, but some people just walk right into it over and over again without learning from their mistakes.

This one required no time or money. I hear there is still some promise that it will start paying.

I had to quit joining sites. Period. The disappointment was too much ...
Like you, I keep looking for something very rewarding but so far nothing.
I really dont' have the time any more anyway.
I am sewing and doing crafts.
No need to fool with anymore cheapo sites.

The best ones are consistent, just like Mylot is. You will not earn a lot of money, but when you are a student it is nice to have some extra income. Be sure to read the Guidelines here and the terms of service. Feel free to post long posts, as you earn more. MyLot is a site where you get paid for what you do, not how others answer you.

my thought is, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. MyLot is something I'd do anything, writing and chatting. I got a couple of friends to join only after I got paid, so I could be their proof of payment. Neobux is another good one, and I did not ask people to join until I could vouch for the fact that they say they'll pay the way they say they will. If I have to recruit before getting paid, I'm not interested in the site!

I was extremely disappointed with Neobux. The best one I've signed up for lately has been PeopleString. Well, I signed a while ago and then never went there, but started using it recently. I am also liking KooDay, but not sure if it will pan out over time.

Hi GG,
I don't usually try new websites until I hear that they are paying. Most of them don't last very long or the rules change and you make less money.
I can't do too many because of my computer, plus I have Netscape, and they don't allow it.
I do research new opportunities pretty thoroughly before I try them though, or let other people be the guinea pigs first to see what happens. And sure enough, down the drain it goes. Not too many good one's out there unfortunately.
And the survey sites are usually only good if you qualify, which I don't. But, like you said, we'll always keep looking!

I just stick with my old standbys--a rapidly decreasing bunch of survey sites, myLot, Send Earnings and my writing. I don't hear about many new opportunities. I occasionally get invites to places, got one about Side Tick the other day but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
I think most earning places on the web are scams. I wish I could find one that paid as much as a full time job--I work 8 hours a day at earning and only bring in a few hundred a month.

I know how that goes. They tell me, after I posted this, that the Website Tester site is back up. I will report when I know.

I never have any luck with survey sites. They take so long and have a lot of repetative questions throughout the survey...which drives me nuts! The ones that I have tried told me that I didn't qualify either after spending 20 or so minutes on them. I think some sites do that on purpose. They get the information they are looking for and because "you didn't qualify" they don't have to pay you. I am sure there are some legit sites, but I guess I can't manage to find those.

When was the last time you were disappointed? This evening and it was my first time. Although I have to say luckily I did not invest time and or money into website tester. I was just hoping even if it meant a lot of work that it could just be one of the many possibilities of earn few more dollars.
I have been luck and blessed to date thus far not be scammed by any website, however I think I better keep to my initial intuitions when it comes to pre-launches of sites.
I think I better start hitting the road again with the integrity shopping as I am all of dough, but wait yesterday I went to the postal service and my truck began to smoke. So I am merry go rounding these days.

"It was worth a shot." That's what I would usually think. At least with website tester, aside from gathering our information(which might sell for a hefty sum still), they did not give too much of hopes by letting us do the work for a time only to earn from us and reap what all of us have earned.
Right now, the site still says they might be down or slow loading because of server incapacity. Only time will tell whether they would ever be back up or stay that way forever.
I used to try a lot of opportunities. I would get disappointed to know that the site I was working on was shutting down or just disappeared. I was quite hopeful and very trusting to everything despite all the comments that Ive read about a site online. I was new to the industry back then and Id sign up to anything and everything that I see that "promised" an online earning. After a while I stopped registering and concentrated on the sites that I had. Unfortunately, I learned that most of the sites that I got into were scams. I learned a lot from experience and from the advice of good people. Im still fortunate because amidst all the scams, I came across few honest sites like myLot which paid me genuinely through the years that Ive been a member.^_^

Yes, many sites have done the POOF thing. I recall the 'comparedby.us' and I thought it was so great. It was around long enough for me to almost make payout and then it did the POOF thing. I try an occasional one. I hear of afew on here that I think sounds interesting and I go check out, sign up if it looks good. I still give my time to my favs like this one and afew others. I am very choosey cause I don't have alot of time and want to give most of my time to the cream of the crop only.

I do not try lots of new opportunities, I get stuck on silly things like what the contracts say.
The last time I was disappointed was when I paid 4000$, for a training/mentoring program on affiliate marketing, learned lots, sadly, they mostly just directed me to free websites....I was slightly irked.
The best opportunity I have tried is Vita-mark International, that is a health and wellness MLM. I really love the Appetizer Diet Cookies.
Lol. and I know it will make me good income, in time.
Sincerely and With Appreciation.

I do, from time to time. I have set a goal for myself to try at least one new opportunity each month. I think it is important, because we all need multiple income streams, and also because knowing what is out there makes it easier to get ideas of your own. So I do recommend this to everyone!
I was disappointing with a site that a lot of people had recommended recently (Triond, who scammed me), so of course this does not mean in any way that I'll never be disappointing, but seriously, one should never give up!
