Free grammar check is an essential tool for non speaking English blogger. I am facing this problem too. I got a site named white smoke but it is not enough. So, if any of you know about free online grammar check or spell check site please help to know that.

There were a few free Grammar checker on the web but they may not be available now. I had found a few in the past and placed them in my archive. I will try to find them if I can. I will get in touch with you if I find them or you can add me as a friend.

Another fact that should be borne in mind is that English language experts do not have the same views on how a sentence should be constructed. Thus we get different opinions on how a sentence should be written.
One way of improving grammar is to read the works of other people. The brain will register the grammar pattern used by each writer.
When it comes to using a grammar checker try sticking with one. This is to avoid confusion unless you are sure with what you have written.

No grammar checker is enough to completely check all the errors. For example, If you write Man instead of Many, no checker will detect it. Man and Many - both are right words according to grammar checker. Proffreading is a must. However, spellchecker.net is also a good site that helps detect errors.

Actually the first responder is quite right. Grammar checker can only check very obvious mistakes. English language is a very complicated language with a lot of twists in it. Also as pointed out, it wont check for phrases that are grammatically correct but not really usable in real world conversation. So get it read by someone who has good grammar. It's the only reliable method of getting things right.
