Did you notice that the myLot logo is green today instead of its usual blue? Or am I the only one who notices this? What do you think it means?

I also noticed that a while ago. I thought the green color will be for good, and final. But I noticed after a few hours, it returned back to blue. See, it's blue again now.

Haha... I thought so... Last month, I noticed the change in colour. My first thought was that it was some Earth Day or something but the dates does not seem to coincide. Then I noticed it again this month. I realised the date seems to coincide with payout day, just wanted to get a confirmation. Anyway, I have not been paid for quite some time, so I did not notice the connection initially. Congrats on getting your $$$, peeps!

HI marguicha, I have not been paid for many many months. I'm here mostly to check out updates on things, reading discussions and getting ideas for writing. So I could be here watching but not participating. How's your vacation? That's an achievement that you managed to go on a vacation with your online earnings. How much did you spend?

HOw I envy Your vacation is cheap - $400 for all that. That is superb. I'm sure you had a wonderful time. Isn't it great to be able to go on a vacation with money you earned online? YOu must be earning quite a lot.

THis years vacations were very unexpensive. I had not planned on having any as I underwent a shoulder surgery and had to pay for a lot of thigs out of my own pocket. But I discovered very unexpensive travel tours for seniors sponsored by our government in low season. A week i Arica (out of the cold) cost me less that $400. That included airfare, airport taxes, a city your, hohel and food for a whole week. There were other tours that were optatives and had to be paid. I figured that I´d save some in gas and food in a week, specially since it was so cold in my sity and Arica is a long way to the north. Ispent about $200 in extras besides that because I took a couple of wonderful tours, includind a once in a life time one to the Lago Chungará at 4,800 meters above sea level.

Well, you got me! It's not earth day, is it? Maybe they have kicked off a new program where they will require all of their members to stop exhaling and releasing CO2 emissions, so we can save the planet? I think the green is related to environmental concerns. What do you think?

It's not earth day, djbtol, although that's what I thought initially too. But it has been clarified that it's payout day! Thank you for participating!

Yes, the green Mylot logo means it is the paid day for Mylot. Yesterday it turned green already and I am very glad I got my payment. This is very nice that we can get the signal to know when we will be paid here. I love China

It's a wonderful and subtle way of telling mylotters that they are being paid, don't you think? Well done youless for your payment! You are doing so well. I remember that you joined myLot not too long ago and have already made more than 17,000 posts. That's superb!

As voldrox has already posted, the mylot logo turns green on Payout day, so it's a convenient way of knowing that your earnings have been transferred. It took me a while to notice and that wasn't until someone commented about it, too.

I did not know when they started this feature. I don't remember this to be the case when I first started myLot. Would you know?

Hello SydneyHazelton, You are very observant. I did not pay attention to the color. How long has it been green? I do not know when the 'Mylot: logo changed. I must stop and smell the roses! LOL :)

It's only green for a day or two to indicate to its members that it's payout day for those who reached minimum payout. It has now turned blue again, until next payout next month. Do stop and smell the roses. *sniff sniff*

Maybe green for money!Maybe there is a new environmental topic (I have saving the enviroment already on mine). Maybe they'll just keep changing it so people notice it more. In other words, I don't know either.

Really? It's payout day? That's cool to know. Yes, we certainly do learn something new every day. Glad I have a wonderful, such as you, to inform me of such things. I'm ablivious (spelling?).

Hi writersedge, It is for money, nothing environmental about it. The green logo indicates payout day at myLot. Anyway, we learn something new everyday, don't we?

Wonderful explanation, Hatley! I think your answer is the most logical of all. I'm positive the green is for the green backs we are receiving.

Someone else mentioned it, but I wasn't on that day. And I have no idea what it oculd mean! Someone said that because it's "pay day" for MyLot, but I don't know.. Maybe it was just a computer blip?
• Singapore
16 Sep 10
It's definitely not a computer blip since I noticed it last month too. I think it is to indicate payout day as mentioned by the other myLotters. Thank you for participating!

The logo turns green on the day myLot issued the payments to myLotters. Have you checked yours? Maybe you may not have enough yet to receive payments...

You're probably right! I will keep an eye on it whenever I reach payday, which might be a while at this rate.
