Hi dear friends...Mine is Compaq. Its old laptop, i know (intel core 2 duo T5300 withhout webcam and only has 512 of RAM (i upgraded it to 1.5 GHZ)), but i love this laptop since three years with me its never let me down. The connection is also fast, but it depends on what modem i use.

Hi dear friend. My laptop is compaq. Its realy old laptop, i know: intel core 2 duo without webcam and having 512 of RAM only (but i upgrade it to 1.5GHZ). But i love this laptop, for three years with me its has never dissapointed me. The connection is also fast but it depends on what modem i use.

Wow. It is good for you that it didn't disappointed you. I believe you are very careful with your laptop because sometimes it is also depends on the user handling.

I have tried to use Dell latitude brand before but I forgot the model number the only problem that I encountered is that the hinges easily looses but other parts are still ok.

hii dear friend..nice to meet you here in mylot..Mt laptop was acer..I my view acer was the Good laptop..It is mow expensive compare to th ather laptops and also the quality of the acer was nice..I am using my laptop from 4 years..And my usage is somewat rough handle handle only..But it was working nicely..Now i am going to buy a another laptop and i am thinking to buy acer only..Because it was working nicely..Some of my friends are using Dell and Lenovo yeah may be they are also good laptops...But i will trust acer..Good one and functioning properly after 4 years also..So in my view investing more money in buying a laptops is waste...happy mylotting dear frind..have a nice day..keep smiling..

Hi friend,
I was able to use Acer from my brother's laptop and I may say that it is competitive although there is an issue with the flickering white display of my bro's laptop model. He still uses it often in writing articles and stories.
Mine is Compaq.Kinda low price but it gives a satisfactory service. I like it because I can browse on internet as fast as I wish@supermommyjem (101)

I have tried to use compaq laptop before but I forgot the exact model number. The performance is good but I found out that the speakers are not good. I think it still depends on the model.

I've got Acer Aspire (I forgot the type), and it suits me well. Got it for $700, has Intel I5 processor, 2GB (now 4GB) DDR3 RAM, 320GB hard drive, and the rest is the same like most laptops.
It's nicely priced, and powerful enough for me as a journalist.

I have a laptop made by a company that is no longer in service. I have an everex stepnote laptop. I bought it becase it was the cheapest I could fine at the time. It has windows xp for its os. 60 gig harddrive and a 1.8 gig micro processer.
