Marketiva is a online foreign exchange platform, it allows you to earn money through investing your money on foreign currencies and you in term earn from that when the foreign currencies increase in value. Most online foreign exchange platforms use foreign currency pair system, such as USD to GBP. so if the exchange rate from USD to GBP increases, you earn from that but if it decreases, you would lose money. One good thing about investing in foreign currencies rather than stock market is that it would never crash like stock market. You could always wait till the exchange rate is favourable again before selling.

marketiva is a forex trading broker. I personally have an account with them.
Once you signup with them you recieve free 5 dollars into your live account and 10,000 dollars into your demo account.
The free 5 dollars is meant to get you to start trading live.
Once you start trading and make some money, you can request for withdrawal.
They have different payment method and each one attract a one time withdrawal fee.
I have been trading forex with marketiva for the past 3 years with no problem.
Hope this helps.

I thought Marketiva is an online forex company. To earn good in forex, you have to learn the specialized knowledge of the online forex game. Am I right, is Marketiva an online forex company? Just like HY Markets and eToro?

I have done a little research about Marketiva.com. It seemed to be an online forex trading website made specially for small traders with small investment and ordering possiblity. The scope for the making money seems to be great. However, without much of knowledge of forex-trading, I would say its better to leave as it is. If you friend wanted to get the cashout of 8$ from this website, then probably he has been able to make $3 dollars out of it. Because, when you register in marketiva you get $5 as free credit. This is again another money making website which boost of having more than 800,000 active acount holders trading in it.If you want to register for the simple trading you can do that. But for over-the-desk trading counters you must have $500 to deposit and then start trading.
I think I will leave it as it is and focus on other mode of making money online.
