I think that this is quite a standard practice designed to ensure that the paypal/alertpay email belongs to the correct person (or has been correctly entered). I don't think it's designed to steal information at all; in fact, how could it? You have to supply an email address which is connected to your payment processor anyway, in order to get paid. All they are doing is sending a message to that address to check that it is a valid account that belongs to the person who is owed the money.

It is just like verifying your email some sites asks to verify payment email also. About stealing paypal/alertpay info I think we the online earning people have to take that risk . I have been scammed by upbux, palmbux, Imcrew, gagabux and many more sites all of them has my payment information , so what does it makes difference. You have to be alert to protect your paypal/alertpay information just change the passwords frequently, verify your alertpay/paypal accounts this will do it.

Payment email = the one linked to our paypal account. Usually sites just asks for verification on our PRIMARY email. For example we isgned up on **bux. They will send an activation email to our primary email. And then they will also ask for our payment email where they will send the payment (paypal) but they don't usually send a verification email to that email (payment email). BUT there are some small sites that is also asking to verify the payment email. That is what I am asking. If they are just for the info of our payment info??
