Cruel World!

It all depends on what you consider success? Well, I would like to think that I'm a nice person and I think I've succeeded very well. I don't have much but I have more than I need. I have a lot of friends. I get along with my family. I am happy. I am contended. I sleep at night. I enjoy the sunshine, walking, nature. I have a good relationship with God. I've helped people. I don't know what more I would want. So do nice people finish last? It all depends on what we want.

Hi krupesh, I have to agree with you. The moment you are nice, you lose your rights. Like I thank somebody and say, I dont know what I would do without you, professionally, and she says you dont have children, why dont you write your properties on my child's name, and releases a derisive laugh. That hurts. So we hurt back. Does that make me hard edged person? I dont know. Unable to bear it all, I left the job.

Kindness of the nicer people made their life hard and i want to be the one who is successful

Yeah, I agree. Most hard edged people could push nicer person in order to gain what they want, and nicer people seem to be suffering because of that. But trust me. If you've ever seen those who are greedy in every aspect of life, then those people won't be able to enjoy what they've got, and sometimes it (greediness) will destroy them! Nicer people, which are mostly pushed tend to have lesser success or belongings. But I believe that that if they are truly a nice people, they will always be happy with that kind of condition, because they can thank and accept their life.

I think I am at the nicer side and I agree with you that always pushed aside. Also still we chose not to respond thinking that not to get in to any unwanted issues.But many people getaway with their aggressiveness , also I have see that these people are lease popular among others as they have overstepped because of their hard edgy character

I think that a lot of the reason that life seems to be a little bit more difficult for those of us that are nicer than those that are more hard edged is because those of us that are softer hearted are more likely to be taken advantage of by other people. I know that is the main reason that I've had a harder time in my life than some other people have been through. It doesn't seem like it is fair, but it is something that I've come to accept as being the truth in life.

I think it is harder to be nice because people will take advantage of you and you will be too loyal to play tricks. I think I am that nicer type, I feel too much guilt to do any tricks.
