calamities may come in forms of misfortunes, disasters, loss of loved one.
i once witnessed the results of a flood. Many livelihood animals died, crops and houses were destroyed, children and adults got scared.
i am often baffled why many people live a carefree life. They do not mind helping until calamities actually come to their doors. Then these people start questioning GOD.
calamities also happen to God's true people. Although i don't understand the whys of it all Im sure God has special purpose for each.

I faced the natural calamity of floods at my home when I was in 6th standard. In our city due to excessive rains and floods the houses which ahd underground rooms were drowned with water.Actually our underground filled up with water till ceiling. My parents had stored so many precious things in our underground and it took us years to make up the losses. But my parents patience helped this disaster to pass out very smoothly. Then when two years back I and my parents met with a severe road accident. My mom dad were badly injured.I was safe and I handled this disaster with patience and the period of crisis went away smoothly and during that time we also faced the trauma given by my sisters in laws to her and our family. They instead of helping her and supporting us created tortures for my innocent siste.Although with all of ours patience things are smooth now but sometimes I wake up at night with fears because of such nighmarish times we have seen.May God grants all human beings power to fight such bad times..
