how many new friends have you made from facebook??

Facebook being one of the most popular social networking site around these days, where more and more people are getting hooked and spend most of the time there. Due to its popularity, and the networking ability, it is easy to get hold of new people online every day you log into the facebook site. However, how many friends do we actually make and interact continuously in facebook ?? any guesses

My total friend amount in Facebook are about 1480 person. Most of them are friend on playing game such as Mafia Wars and Gangster Battle. We have interaction each other occasionally since we're often helping each other in that game. For my actual friend, there are about 300 persons, they are mostly my friend from High School, College and Colleagues. From that total amount, there are about 50 friends that continuously have a communication with me, sharing thoughts, having discussions about business, and else.

Approximately, I stay online in the internet for about 8-12 hours a day. In that 8-12 hours, I'm always logged in to Facebook. I opened the other sites as a part time activity. Not because I liked to hanging around on Facebook, but almost all my friend and colleagues are using Facebook to communicate with others. And it is very important to me.

I actually met my partner on Facebook. It wasn't as though I added him randomly or anything like that, but he was a friend of a friend, and I saw him with his friend in town one day and chatted to him for a little while, then added him on Facebook when I got home.
We chatted for a good couple of months, and then one night I had to turn the internet off but he still wanted to talk to me so I gave him my mobile number so that he could text me if he wanted to. He did, and then we planned to go out with all of our friends together, and eventually we got a date on our own and we've been together ever since. It's lasted almost 15 months now, so it must be something good!

I know all of my friends in facebook but not all of them are close to me. But when we are already friends some of them are becoming my close friend because of the same interactivity we do. I guess almost 50 of my friends continuously interacting with me.

well i have more than 500 friends on facebook but not everyone is really my friend.

I only have around 150 friends on facebook because I don't usually go around adding people up whom I barely even know. Also a reason is that I'm lazy looking up peoples names XD
Most of my friends are relatives, college friends and office mates but the ones I usually interact continuously are my office mates.

i actually have 717 friends in facebook. most of them are high school classmates, college friends and colleagues. but i would admit that i don't interact or communicate with all of them really. if i would estimate the number of friends i usually get in touch with through facebook, i should say it's around 30...
