I think earning and expenses are directly propotional, i your are earning more you spend more.... I was just think how much i am earning now and not able to save, the situation was same few years back when earning was less, then also there was no savings :(

I tend to agree with this statement. Now that I am making less money, I am very conscious about where every penny is spent. When my husband and I were making more money we spent like we had it, and did not set aside near enough. Now we are setting aside even though we really do not have any to set aside. Hopefully, when money is not so tight we will continue to live frugally.

Hmm.., I am not a thrifty person.., I do save yet I get to spend more.., especially if I go frequently to the malls.., =) I am only earning here online as of the moment and as an office staff as a part time job.., and I am not earning that much.., It's only enough for me to get through day by day..=)

Hi! We need to learn how to discipline ourselves first in terms of handling money. For us to save more, we should and must be willing to let go of the not so important things and extras in our daily spending. I learned a lot if possible try to set aside at least 10% of your salary as savings expense. Another 10% most important is your Tithe. Remaining 80% should go in your expenses. Live with it and for sure you'll save more.
