CashGopher Is Doing My Head In. Should I Kill Him Now?

We all know about CashGopher and what it does (well, sort of) but I'm afraid this little rodent is now doing my head in.
For a start, he's in my tray glaring at me with his buck teeth. Very irritating.
At first, CashGopher did indeed "work in the background" not really bothering me at all but now I get pop-ups when I surf. I put up with these when I had basic dial-up but NOT when I have broadband and Spybot, etc, etc.
Now, I have Adblock Plus as a Firefox addon (which is brilliant by the way) but I suppose these pop-ups aren't really ads so they're not being blocked.
If I see MegaSearch one more time I'm going to scream.
So, my friends, should I kill CashGopher off? By the way, my computer is very old and can do without having to work harder than he does already.

I am starting to see more and more negative discussions about this little critter. I am kind of glad that I could not install him on my computer now. How are the earnings for it though? I know that it is mainly for the USA guys and that they are going to earn more from it, but I am guessing that Europe earnings may be OK too. I do not think that the earnings would be so good all the way down here.

When I started on CashGopher the same was happening to me but, if you have a decent computer that isn't old like mine, then please give it a chance. The more you use your computer (i.e. the internet) the more you will probably earn with this. I gave it at least a week before uninstalling BUT I was getting paid more each day than I did at the start, if that makes sense.
However, if it starts giving your computer problems with its speed then it may be a good idea to uninstall it..but not yet.
Welcome to MyLot by the way.

well I just downloaded the software and still doesn't know what it will do to my computer..as far as the pop ups are concern, maybe this is the reason why I still get no earnings after 3 days of downloading because I haven't got any pop ups..Nope, haven't seen one..I did see something different when I access my facebook, I saw the megasearch thingy and I wondered what it does but now i know already since you mention megasearch is from this software..I'll see what will it do for me then I'll decided if I'll dump it or not.

Believe me, MegaSearch comes up a LOT, amongst other things. I don't even think you even have to use the search bar in order to get paid but only CashGopher could tell you that for sure. I suspect you do get paid as the whole point is that you just surf the net like you normally do but are rewarded for doing so.
Last night I uninstalled CashGopher, not because of the cash (that is always welcome no matter how much it is) but due to the fact it was slowing down my old computer too much and was spoiling my enjoyment of the internet.
No doubt it will work wonders with other people and if I were you, I would give it a few more days like I did before deciding whether you want to keep it or not. I gave it a chance, but, unfortunately, I had to let go of it in the end.

I am afraid I had to let the CashGopher go. He was interfering way too much with my daily work activities online! I have not even checked it recently so I do not know what my account amount is up to. I would say off with the CashGopher's head if you have to be gentle with your computer.

same problem here. I just un-installed it 2 days ago. I hated the megasearch pop-up and I also hated how it bogged down my computer's speed. When I removed it from my computer, there was a noticeable increase in my computer's performance. Nevermind the earning if you just get a bunch of problems. earning is so low that it wouldn't even make a difference in your life. There's still room for a lot of improvement. Let's give it time as it was just released. Maybe a year from now it'll be the greatest earning program... which I doubt but who knows right?

Yes, issues with my computer speed have meant that I had to uninstall CashGopher last night. The money in itself (however small) is welcome as far as I am concerned but every time I went on a site I got a pop-up interfering with what I was looking at. I realise that all this is part of what CashGopher is all about and I suspect it won't annoy everybody but the fact remains, my computer is old so it can't cope with the interference.
Fingers crossed, my computer is a lot faster now that the little rodent has gone.

Yes. CashGopher always open a pop up windows, which give you money... You will understand that after few days. More fererrals, more money. This is the real situation in this program. But If you get less than 100 referral, don't expect a lot of earnings. I made $0.02 per day with 6 referrals. This is too low earning for me... Or i think soo.

I never try to get refferals with anything. I just do what I do as I'm in control of what I do, if that makes sense. I really can't be bothered with refferals because I don't think I'd get any..but that's ok. I can cope lol.

Hi Janey,
So you were one of the brave that downloaded this little creature, heh? I just could not bring myself to do it. Figured I'd wait and see what others experienced. Like yours, my computer is a bit old and not that speedy as it is even though I have broadband. I hate pop-ups and did not feel the need to slow my computer and deal with the pop-ups etc for a few extra cents per month. While I have read some positive reviews on this, I have read enough negative ones to think that I made the right choice in not getting involved.

You should check your earnings and make a decision upon that. If you've made a good portion of what it ttakes to cash out, I would say stick with it until you can cash out and then shut her down (otherwise it would have been time wasted). However, if you're like me, and have only accumulated 3 cents in the past week (or however long it's been..) then I'd say it's not worth it. But it depends on how much you've made and how close you are to cashing out, I suppose!

It's actually quite good what I have earned but it's the way that I've earned it that is annoying me somewhat. In one way it's brilliant that I'm getting paid - basically, to surf the internet, something I do a lot..but these popups are actually interfering with my surfing experience which is a consequence of having CashGopher lol.
I will probably uninstall it when I reach payout. I doubt I will have any hair left by then!

As far as I am concerned I love cashgopher, but then again, my laptop is brand new and very quick accross multiple pages. I did have a really old desk top and I don't think he could have handled the cashgopher pop ups.
I guess you just have to decide if it is as financially rewarding enough for you to continue with the interruptions.

Hello! I am considering uninstalling it once I reach payout, which be a while yet. If I wasn't earning anything with it I'd uninstall it now. I guess I have to be patient!
