All the things they want is not all given it has many reason why God didn't give all they want. Maybe it is unnecessary things. It's all they want but they did not need it. I believe God answering our prayers but not all our prayers because maybe our prayer is wrong. Example you pray not to occur earthquake but the bible say that it should happen.

I pray to thank God. I pray to beg forgivness. I pray to help me in need. Most of the time i pray to God to ask him to protect my children and bring them up in the proper way.

For guidance and faith. I do not pray so I can get anything. I pray for strength to deal with life in general.
I am faithful to my prayers and always ask for guidance for others.

It seems prayer is not of the time-domain i.e. we ask and God gives or does not give.
I tend to believe that: "Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart." [Mahatma Gandhi]
I tend to believe that in prayer we seek to open our hearts to God. We best not let our mind get in the way by asking for something, but rather, perhaps we let God take over all our aspirations and hopes and accept whatever is given us...
I believe whatever we do or do not do, diligently or otherwise, God's design will unfold and manifest ... for it seems God places "something" in us that is beyond our heart and our mind ...
What do you think ?

I personally pray to God because I love God, and only God that can give me the best.
In my prayer I often ask to be his best subject (lover), that someday I won't need to ask for anything because he knows what's best for me.

It is said that "ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find..." So, I don't think that God wouldn't give you what you ask for. If it is really what God wants for you, you shall have it. And if it is not yet the time for it, you can still have hope that you'll be able to receive it in the future.
I know I ask many things from God despite that I already have many things given by God. But that's humanity is, right? We'll never be satiated from our hungers. And as it is, God, is the unending flow of blessings that we all need in order to survive.
I pray to God that he'll keep up on giving me His blessings and something more. I know it's a bit selfish but hey, what's wrong in asking? (^_^)

If you don't pray to God then how can you keep the Faith.Praying is cleansing to the soul...Not only have scientist shown that optimism and stress levels are reduced by prayers but also people who pray feel closer to their Gods...So Pray!

I believe to the reason that God was not able to answer your prayer it is because He has other plans for you that we must going to see.

I believe in God. I pray to God throughout each day. I pray for His will, not mine, be done. I also pray for others. I do think that God listens to every prayer that I pray as well as the prayers others pray. Sometimes God answers yes, sometimes no, sometimes maybe. The important thing once I have prayed is being still and listen. God's answers to prayers can come in many ways and many forms. I have to stay aware and listen and watch do I may miss is answer.
