luukimlong hi, for me changing my eating habits to eating less for meals, mostly vegetable & slow down on white rice. Snacking eat fruits instead of sweats & drink more water & stay away from sodas.. I hear drinking warm green tea with little honey or real lemon juice & honey will make u loose weight.. Also adding exercising at least 30 minutes a day will be great for your health.. Stay away from fatty foods, fast foods, & even fried foods.. Everyone here have great ideas that I will remember to follow since looking to be more healthy when we do get get older & we're thinking of being around longer for our love ones..

I will try. I like walking, but I don't have so much time for it.
I just can go walking in the weekend morning.
I like my weekend.

you have to make a really long term habit to become healthy... I would suggest making sure your eating a well rounded diet that means that unless you have tons of money to spend and a great knowledge of nutrients in food you should hit all of the food groups... Meat, dairy, fruit, vegetables and grains. Ditch the white bread if you eat it and find one that has whole grains. Fatty meat is not the worst thing for you. The fat in meat keeps the body warm and some fat is necessary. If your not a big meat fan eat nuts, eggs and legumes. As far as fruits and veggies go a general saying is the brighter the color of the flesh the better. That means things like apples don't have a ton of nutrients. They are good for you just not as good as oranges and berries. Couple these good eating habits with daily exercise and some kind of stress relief will help. My choice of exercise is swimming or riding my horse. However you could just start with the daily exercise tips. Pace while your on the phone, park at the farthest end of the parking lot, take the stairs not the elevator, and wearing steel toed boots makes you work a little harder.

First try to avoid fatty food as well as those with too much sweets. And do not smoke or quit smoking if you are one. If your condition will permit jog every other day. Otherwise do brisk walking or just plainly walk whenever you are going to nearby places. Devote a few minutes of your time each day to perform simple exercises like push-ups and sit-ups. And lastly enjoy your life and always live in happiness and peace.
