Listening to music should be part of your child's regular activities. Turn on the radio or play records and tapes for his/her enjoyment. Expose him/her to different kinds of music-folk,classical, popular- as well as slow and fast tunes This exposure will nurture his love for music and hone his listening skills. Call your child's attention to the music whenever or wherever it is playing- in the car, at the shopping center, etc. Get him/her to talk on his response to music. Find out which ones he likes best. As he/she grows older, he will have his personal favorites (which may be a far cry from yours). Let him/her sing his favorite songs or hum his/her favorite tunes.=) this is nice to know enjoy.... HAPPY MY LOTTING GUYS=)

I know that this is the truth. Both of my children have been exposed to music from the time that they were very small. Now they are seven and three years old and they both have a good ear for music. They have their favorite songs that they like to sing along to and believe it or not, their tone and pitch is typically right on. They are both gifted as it is, but I think that both of them have an untapped talent in music.
