is it really hard to forgive?

for me it's very hard to forgive.
i mean yes you can say i forgive you, but do you really mean it all the time?
and does sorry gives people the chance to commit mistake cause they easily say i'm sorry when your already hurt?
i like what the actress said in 1 movie i saw " i want to forgive you, but i can't"
i mean shes right it's really very Hard to say i forgive you and that you mean it.
Thankfully God Forgives us always..
even before we ask for forgiveness..
and for us humans with pride sometimes it's also hard for us to say i'm sorry and i mean it.

Hi Eve!
Well, for me I can really say that it takes time to heal the wounded person. But forgiveness has its own time. If that wound is so deep then it takes months or even years.
But I think you really have to learn to forgive because all of us commit mistakes. What if you accidentally hurt the one you love then you will not be forgiven also?.. How does it feel?... Even God forgives people inspite of our imperfection. Right?.
