I read this message from my email coming from my friends appealing that it should not be blame the hostage taking to all filipino people and the apologize are given already try to read this message. You hate the Filipino people for the hostage fiasco that unfortunate incident that went out of control at the end. This was a hostage situation that was under control and which netted 7 Chinese tourist to be released upon the efforts of our policemen. You appear and sound sanctimonious and have even stepped upon our sovereignty. You have demanded apology, the moon and the heavens. You hate the Filipino people as if we wanted this unfortunate incident to happen. First and foremost,we offer our condolences to the families of the 8 that were killed in this incident. Secondly,we are sorry for the bungled handling of this hostage taking. It was unfortunate,it was an accident,we never planned it that way. Is it fair to blame a whole nation for a situation that was never planned? Let me ask you this question,"Should we hate you also for the lead poisoning caused by the paint you used in your baby furniture and toys for the children of the world? Should we hate you also for the use of cardboard in the "siopao" that you sell to tourist? Should we hate you also for the melamine contamination wherein not 8,but hundreds, maybe even thousands have suffered and some even died? Or. let us talk of Filipino casualties. A few years ago 3 Filipino tourist all surnamed Madrigal,a family of 5 were walking on Tienemen Square in Beijing. One Chinese stabbed the father and two of his children, killing all three. Were you even sorry for what this one Chinese did? Did the filipino people demand that china apologized for this unfortunate incident. This was pre-meditated murder. Just as the use of lead, cardboard, melamine was pre-meditated-ised because they were cheaper materials,in order to generate profits for the chinese businessman. Did you pay the damages the same way you are demanding damages from the filipino nation and people?where was the anger of the chinese and hongkong people? Did you apologize to the world? My God in the case of melamine, you even kept this information from the world, until you were exposed for what you are!!! Enought.. We sympathize but don't blame the filipino people. So you want to send our OFW home, that take care of your children? They play an important part in your lives. BOth spouses are able to work, earn money because of the tender loving care being heaped on your children by filipino maids or yaya. While you pay our OFW for the work they do,you earn more for the love and care they bestow on your children. Go ahead, send our OFWs home. Let us see how that will affect your family incomes. For me apologize is already given and i think it is enough.. How about you?what is you opinion? should the Philippines government give more apologize to the Chinese people for the hostages incident?

a lot of things have been said and a lot more will be said if we keep on bringing this up. I would hope that this really is something that both nations can move past on. It is a shame that this thing has happened, but no one meant for it to turn out this way. Apologies have been said, but not taken. Explanations have been said but under investigation. I guess at this time we all have had enough - so i'd say STOP THIS! ENOUGH ALREADY PLEASE.

How would the people in Land of China knows the reports of melanine and the madrigal homicide when Chinese Government censors the news. that's their PROBLEM, as for me, am moving on with my life. i don't need to apologize to nobody since it was the cops who did it. we have symphatize and that's it. we don't need to beg for forgiveness, who the hell are they!

thanks for your opinion, i think giving one apologize is enough since it is isolated case only and mistake of one organization only, not represent the entire nation. happy lotting..

Ahmm... one apology is enough.. it's up to them if they'll accept it or not.. as long as the Chinese government will maintain the good relationship with our government,, it's okay... let's make a better relationship with other country.. and that history will remain history.. like in world war 2. remember... what Japanese done to us? But, see.. we're in good relationship with them.. ^^

well for me...once apology is given it is enough...there is no need for us Filipino people to apologized for what had happened, for we do not planned for it....it is not right to blame the whole nation in the wrong doings of one person...let those chinese banned Filipinos in their country, lets see whose lost will it be... Our government had done the right thing already...so, no need to apologize over and over again...
