guy you love says he loves god more than you. what do you do? O_O

I think it takes guts for a person to admit that he/she puts God first in life, so I would not have a problem with it. However, if I really loved this person, and I wanted to marry them or something, yet they claimed that God wanted them to go to some faraway land as a missionary or something, I may have to argue a little about that, because I wouldn't want to lose her. In the end, however, I probably wouldn't have any hard feelings towards her if she did go, but I would probably spend the rest of my life wondering "what could have been". Then again, if we were really meant to be together, she would come back when the time was right, however, I am sure that I would not want to be away from her if I really loved her.

That is actually not as uncommon as you think...I am married with two kids and my priority of love is God then family. It all depends on what you believe. I love god more than my family because if it wasn't for God, I would not be blessed with my family and the life I have. I wouldn't go as far as to say you are selfish and materialistic. He needs to be with someone who has the same religous beliefs he does. I think it is good for you to be with someone else.

Hi sweetloveforeve, Doing one job sincerely and positively in a deeply motivated way is what is God about,after getting up from our bed till again going to bed there is lots of things we do and do mingle with our own parents, family , friends , colleagues and lots of other people with whom we deal with accordingly,those daily deeds if performed truly to its deepest wisdom is what we would be serving the god. God is omnipresent and so we ought to do all our activities to its genuine nature or way and that's all, one not necessarily have to pray to god day and night. Happy mylotting.
