Do you give marks?

I haven't given any 'mark best responses' to anyone. I'm not sure how to do it. Should I always give mark to one of the responders whom I think the best? I plan to wait for a week for each discussion I started then decide the winner. But what if there's only one responder? Please share your opinion.

It's alright to wait a week if you wish. I actually still get responses two weeks after I post a discussion. It's really up to you. I do give best response though. Not that I started a lot of discussions. On the other hand, I only have a few but I give it as a token of my appreciation to the people who responded to me. If there is but one response that you got, it is still up to you if you want to give a best response mark. Anyway, not all people do even if they get more than one response. I guess, it depends on how you appreciate the way your post was responded to.

Some responses are really great, very thoughtful, very well explained, and very impressive. I would very much appreciate responses like that. And, that is when I would mark the 'best response'. That is my token of appreciation to the myLotter for giving serious thought and consideration to my posting, and that is the best way of working together on myLot.

I think you should only mark the "MARK BEST RESPONSES" only to those who responded the best answer. If theres only one respondent and if you think she/he responded well, its up to ou of course if you want to mark it as a best response. But if you think its not, I think you are not obliged to mark it as the best response. I hope you get what I meant. :P

its not like that u should give best response to someone everytime... its just your wish... if u think that response u got is the best of all.. thn i think u should give that pereson the best response... otherwise leave it.... and if in case there is only 1 responder then just see the response he/she gave.. n thn decide whether to give him the best response or not... Simple....
