I just love boys

Ed Howe said that “a boy doesn't have to go to war to be a hero; he can say he doesn't like pie when he sees there isn't enough to go around.” Doesn’t that really sum up everything there could be said about boys? My two boys are 14 and 15, and whenever I see them with their pals roaming the neighborhood I can’t help but think of a herd of young fowles – capricious, but still innocent. I like their howling with laughter when one of them throws up because of some greedy intake of too much food. And I particularly like the fact that they are beginning to project themselves into the future, what they gonna do, what they gonna be ...... Unfortunately, that spells the end of their boyhood. Well, well......
