have you ever felt depressed? what do you do in those moments?

I'm actually feeling depressed now he he. I just try to keep myself busy, I pray that I might get over the depression. God's love is more than my sadness and when I think of that, it somehow uplifts my spirit... but if you're more of the non-religious, I would suggest engaging yourself in various activities. Preferably the activities you've never done before as it drives of the feeling of pity and brings in the feeling of excitement. The adrenaline rush from the nervousness of your first time would allow you to forget certain things that make you depressed because now your focus is diverted. I remember when I was depressed for 3 months. I finally started to do something different. I tried Rappelling. You know what? I forgot why I was even depressed in the first place. Sometimes it's a change in the pattern of what we do that creates greater impact in our lives. We might not get rid of the depression fully but at least we learned something new right? If it's alright to ask, is this about someone who broke your heart or is it just the random depression you feel sometimes?

I used to get depressed a lot but not that often. In that situation, i just watch funny movies or listen to music not sad music, something you can dance to.

maybe not depressed not as happy as usual. Just find things you love or be around people that project happiness and remove your self from negative influences.

As we all know maybe life here on earth specially now a days is so depressing,but we should look at it in a positive way.This is the way how to fight stress.Whenever I am feeling down,just talk to my loveones,watch funny movies , reach out to a friend and play with my dogs.In this way all those negatives thoughts are just gone in a second.

yes, i was depressed just a week ago.... what i did is just cry as i can and pray.... i don't know if my ways are effective, but it relieved my senses.... happy mylotting everyone....

I think it's safe to say that everyone has felt depressed at one point or another in their life. I find that the best remedy for this is to just take a moment to think things out and work through it in your head. Nine times out of ten, you'll find that you are able to work yourself out of a depression with logical reasoning. A large part of getting past depression is either a) accepting what is depressing you if you're unable to do anything about it (in the case of a love gone wrong) or b) realizing that there are things you can do about it (if say you were depressed because you didn't have many friends). Hello Swissheart. Not actually depressed, but I often feel stressed with too much work and too many hours at the work place each work day. By the time, I get home, it would be pretty late in the evening, very much tired and feeling stressed. One of my favorite ways of getting rid of the stresses is listening to songs and music. I keep a collection of CDs of classical music, Chopin, Mozart, Johan Strauss, and more. And, listening to music certainly helps to getv relaxed and refreshed.

just try and do something u cant just resist doing...for example,watching comedy,action/thriller films,visiting family.hanging out with friends and pray to God to be ur strength.i just broke up 4rm a 4 and a half year old relationship...it is well with u.

Depression - A young lady who is very Depress Im not sure what it is a about but this is a perfect example of depression in World and etc lol. I feel so Bad for her she really does look so sad .. aww
Yes I have depress when I was in middle school I felt so sad and Depress. I couldnt control my feelings I was happy one moment, sad another moment. anger for another moment I end up going home crying. My father ask me what happen I said I dont know whats wrong with me. So what I did was pray and pray it eventually went away and I never really felt that way again thank GOD

Yes, I've felt depressed many times. In those moments, I usually write it down in my journal. I let it all out and acknowledge that I am depressed. Sometimes nothing will work so you just have to wait it out. Other times, I can distract myself with other things. Music helps a lot too.

have you ever felt depressed? Every day my friend. I try really hard to be positive but the feelings sometime overwhelm me. what do you do in those moments? What I try to do everyday is pray and have faith that each day will be better and foucs on a bit more positive things to get my mind off of certain issues.
