Is japanese good or chinese is good?

Part of old culture in japanese and chinese is same, because very near in position, but they are really different walking directions, so many contradictions in the two country,a friend of me want to learn one kind of foreign language from the two country. We know chinese using people much more than japanese user,but japanese is a developed with high productive forces country. Would you tell me how to make a choice.

For me both are good. We shouldnt judge a person regarding to some sort. As we know, every person has their own perspective and personality. We cant say that Japanese is good or vice versal , no matter in what kind nation, there has pros and cons meant there has good people and bad people within. There is no perfect. We born to this world is learn how to be good man and improve our self from our weaknesses.

If I were you I will choose japanese because a friend of mine is living in Japan she is married to a japanese with two kids and don't have a plan to visit our country because living in japan is peaceful and of course you should have to learn their language.
