Low-grade fever may be due to many reasons. I am here citing some of probable causes which are very common-
1)Tuberculosis
2)Viralinfections
3)Infective endocarditis
4)Chronic abscess
5)Chronic mastitis
6)malignancy
7)Autoimmune disease
8)Dengue
9)Q fever
10)Chronic appendicitis
11)fever of unknown origin
12)Wound infection
13)Flu
14)Sinusitis
15)HIV
16) Miscellaneous
Thus there are so many diseases of which only a few have been mentioned which may cause a low-grade fever. So in my opinion immediately consult with an experienced doctor who after proper examination would suggest some investigations to identify the cause & will then give you the proper treatment. But never neglect a low-grade fever.

More than likly you have some sort of virus. Your best bet not only to take fever reducers but to drink alot and eat something like chicken noodle soup (preferably home made & not the junk out of the can). Along with a warm to cool shower & alot of rest. Sometimes it just takes a while for this stuff to work it's way out. I hope you are feeling better soon.
