Besides being online, what do you plan to do today?

Notice I said "plan". I often "plan", but just as often get distracted. I plan to clean some today, and I plan to try my hand at making homemade laundry detergent. I bought all the stuff. I grated up my Fels Naptha bar soap. Now I just need to get a container and some boiling water and get on with it. I plan also to perhaps paint a wicker chair and some trim from one bedroom. We will see what happens with my plans.

HI GG, I try to have a plan every day. I'm like u i don't always get it all done. So far today, i stripped my bed, got the sheets wasked & back on. That is a pretty major job for me, makes my back hurt worse. I HAVE VACUUMED ALL BUT ONE ROON, I'M RESTING, THAT HURTS MY BACK TO, LOL. i CUT MY HAIR THIS MORN. Once i got through w/the vacuum want be much else done today. I have got to give my dog & car a bath that will probably have to wait till tomorrow. Sounds like u have a busy day planned. 'maybe' that will keep u out of trouble, lol.

Well I am on the net for more hours imaginable. I will continue to daily plans of logging into my sites and earn a few bucks for a couple hours, then I get up wash the kitchen floor, at which time I contemplate what I could scrape together for a dinner, then I come back online put in some more applications for an offline job for another couple hours. Today as well as doing the above, I am throwing a few loads into the washer, and cleaning out the refrigerator. In between all that so that I do not get distracted, I go back on the net, earn again or to earn and look up more areas to apply for work. All this in 20 hours of my day.

I was in the healthcare filed for 19 years. My last position of which I had was for 14 years. I was the COO of an imaging center. I will be honest with you these days, fast food, retail anything I could possibly make an income off of. Trouble is I am directly being told I am way over qualified. Trouble is I can't make up as if I had other lower qualifying jobs as then I have absolutely no reference. So if I can't beat them, they will continue to beat me. Ugh.

I plan to work part of the day, then I have to cook something because company's coming tonight. I'd like to slip in some knitting on a gift, but it probably won't happen. I also plan to see if I can figure out how to get a piece of tomato plant to root so I can keep it inside this winter. Oh, and I plan on giving away some plums today. Let's see if I remember that!

I wish you were closer, I'd give you some plums! I intended to give them to my sister but she has to babysit tonight and won't be here. I do NOT want to make plum jelly, which is my next option...

Good that you have a plan. If we write things down as to what we want to accomplish we get more done than when it just a mental plan. For sure I will do some extra Bible reading and studying. I haven't planned too much today as it is my day for taking it easy. So will get minor things done. Little things I wasn't able to do yesterday. I did speak to my landlord about providing me with some digital thermostats so that I can set the temperature right this winter as it will soon be upon us. I'm satisfied that I have done that already and the day is still young. Have a successful day!

I don't really plan to do much. I just go with the day where it takes me. I would prefer to plan and cross things off my list, but I find that life gets in the way of the best laid plans. So, I just go with things as they pop up. Being a full time stay at home mom, that works out for the best and I'm never disappointed with life, even when i don't get around to doing something I really wanted. I just make a mental note to try to complete the project later, like the next day. It's not a plan, so much as wishful thinking. I have a running list of things I want to get done in my head already. And, as time and energy permits, I do them. This past week, I've been saying that I wanted to hook up the Internet to our second computer, which is located in our living room. But, I just haven't gotten around to it. And, yesterday, we bought pizza and I finally felt up to the task. A very long and convoluted task, considering we don't have wireless, only wired ethernet and the task involved pulling up carpet and stringing ethernet cords along the side of my hall and moving numerous pieces of furniture. I'm glad the job got done, cause it's always better when we have internet on both computers. Not sure what I will do today. I might hang out at Mylot today. That's usually where my day is spent, when I'm not doing mom stuff. I might do some surveys. I might check my email. My day is filled with lots of mights.

This sounds very like my day, except I am an unemployed wife. I think unemployment will run out soon. I have some potential money making things to do, but I just drift in and out. I just moved into the hour where I was going to go do some cleaning, but your description sounds a lot like my life.

Today, I only have one thing that I want to do and I hope to stick to it. I need to go to the bank and withdraw some money for my mother. It's only noon now (five hours til bank closes) so even though I'm still stuck to my computer mylotting and playing games, I think I can stick to that plan. Let's hope I make it.

Well I went to the doctor today because I hurt my back. Then I dropped off my perscription. I was told it would take an hour so I went to Chipotle and had some yummy pork tacos. Then there was still some time left so I stopped a book store, then I picked up my prescription, came home and got on line. Then in about 40 minutes I have to and pick up one of my kids from school and take him to gymnastic class and drop my other son off at a friends on the way there, then pick up my daughter from a French club meeting, and then my son from his friends house, then come home, cook dinner, eat dinner, clean up after dinner and then hopefully fall on the couch and watch an hour maybe two of TV before I fall hopelessly asleep.

I plan to be online to earn, as well as to read some of my book and to try to apply at more places. My mind is all over the place but I need to start applying and if nothing happens nothing happens but the least I could do is apply to all the places I can think of. I want to make homemade soap, and homemade laundry soap... one day lol.

The laundry soap thing is not hard. I understand it only costs about one fourth of regular detergent. My problem is that I ran out of my allergy free kind and I am itching from what I bought, so I thought I would try homemade.

The soap thing is not hard to do. I have heard it is pretty inexpensive, and I am hoping it does not make me itch like the ones I buy at the store that are fragranced and have dyes in them.

Well, its already 4.30pm here and I had planned to spend the day doing things FOR ME, however, I got caught up doing some baking this morning (which I do enjoy, so its partly therapeutic I guess) - which meant a big pile of stuff to wash up afterwards. I have just got back from the gym and that was a "for me" thing. I stopped of to feed my mum's fish as she's away for a few days so I revelled in half an hour's peace and quiet there. I'll have to iron my trousers & wash/colour my hair in the next 3-4hours as I'll be off to bed quite early ready for that 5.30am alarm tomorrow. Hope you get to do those interesting things without interuption

Homemade laundry soap, now that's ambitious! I've been working on my wicker porch set too. I got the tables done yesterday. Today I was going to attack the big matching sofa, and maybe start the chairs and rocker. Alas, you know what they say about the best laid plans lol. It's pouring out, so scratch that idea! Plan B is to tackle the new curtains project in the laundry/plant room. There's 6 huge windows going across and around the corner of one long wall. I'm using permanent press sheeting from Walmart. At $3.00 for a flat patterned twin sheet, I can wrap the project up for less than $20 and make them lined for winter. That's the plan for today. Let us know how your soap turns out!

I really like sheets for curtains. I now have about 2.5 gallons of what should be soap. They all use the same ingredients, basically. I was joking about it to a friend and she said she does it all the time.

Absolutlty nothing, and that's the really sad thing. It is a beautiful day out today and it's sunday and I don't have to work till tues and I have no plans at all. I wish I had something to do. My daughter is away for the weekend, she is 28 years old and I don't know another soul that I could visit. I am new to this city and I am self employed so I don't get to meet any new people other than my clients and I can't mix business and pleasure so I don't know anyone. Last night I was so bored I baked two cheese cakes and two carrot cakes and I made a bowl of jello and a bowl of pudding. I am not a baker and I haven't baked in over 10 years so this is quite an accomplishment for me. My daughter will be so surprised when she gets home tomorrow night. She is the baker in the family. And that's if I don't eat it all before she gets home. I eat out of boredom and I sure hope I can resist it because I don't need the extra calories. I may go for a walk to the store this afternoon instead of driving. I need some smokes soon as I only have a couple left. I don't smoke very much and the couple I have left would normally last me till tonight but again, I may smoke out of boredom. Maybe I should go for a ride somewhere, just don't know where. I bought a brand new 2011 Hyundia Accent 6 months ago and I love it so maybe it will make me feel better if I go for a ride to the mountains which are just an hour west of me. Cheers and have a good day my friend, Chris

That is a lot of baking. I think first I would take that walk, to burn some calories in case I decided to sample the goodies, then maybe take that drive. It sounds beautiful to be so close to the mountains.

I hope you had a wonderful evening. I have a bicycle, but do not ride it to the stores for the same basic reason. Not highways necessarily but main four lane streets. It is finally cool enough that a fire in a fire pit would be nice.

Well, so far I'm doing pretty good with resisting, only had one piece of cheese cake so far and it's almost 10 at night so I may do good. I ended up driving to the store for those smokes because to walk I would have to cross the number 1 highway and I don't like walking across it, a little dangerous. But I did go out for a walk in the neighbourhood for about an hour and that was good. Now I think I am going to sit outside and start a fire in the pit and sit for an hour or so before I decide whether to just go to bed or not. Talk to you soon my friend.

I'm planning to finish a bunch of articles, read a little, vac the stairs of dog hair and leaves--oh, the things they drag in!!--make chicken stew, finish some more of the scarf I'm knitting as a Christmas gift while I watch a Supernatural episode that I haven't seen before, what a treat! That's enough for today, although I may work in sweeping the porch but maybe I'll let the leaves pile up a little more!

Yep, that's just the reality of things. However, at this time in my life, most of my long term plans' realization is still not a guarantee. That would be around a year or two from now. But my "plans" for this day is sure to happen or at least Ill try to make it happen. Plans today include supervising the shop, meeting with some people, folding at least 100 origami cranes, cramming for a quiz, attending class in the afternoon, finishing a project that's due on friday, and setting up plans for the next week.^_^ Those are the things that I "plan to" as well as I "have to" do. Next week is another matter entirely since though I have made plans already, that could change depending on new information that is of higher priority than the events that I already have plans for. We really just never know what might come up.

Well, I was able to do most of them.^_^ As for the paper cranes, I managed to make 10 until I realized that it was raining outside. So I just stopped making them and took extra care not to let the 10 cranes get wet.

I plan to take my resume to a new restaurant, to see if I can get some part time work, and as I am walking I plan to toss beans to people I say hello too, then I plan to go to the Daily Graphic, and drop of a bottle of seaweed juice to a friend of mine there, then I plan to go to work. Gotta start scheduling our plans...I should get it all done, work at 430 and it is 2 now, I have my resume in hand, and am just hitting some discussions before I jet out. Sincerely and With Appreciation.
