We'd rather sit in the mes than make the hard choices.

Isn't it funny how people are always claiming they want to get out of the situation but they are never really willing to do the hard work required to make it?

So true! Maybe they are hoping that some magical solution will come along and the mess is gone without them having to lift a finger. Messes don't usually get resolved without some serious changes and efforts. maybe one day they'll get tired of the mess and do something about it. Let's hope!

I think it is that some people are cowards and afraid to deal with the problems that they foresee in order to overcome, but overcoming removes a weight from our shoulders which is so rewarding that is worth the effort of the process. Besides it opens the opportunities for you to walk in purpose. After all the fire comes to process/prepare us or to hamper us from achieving purpose.

yeah right. its easier to say it but its hard if you do it. you should be ready for the consequences that will arise from your decisions. i believe that even if your problems today are as big as ship, and you have to go through so much trouble and pain in order to get out of it, tomorrow is another day and the sun will shine and light our way. after the hardships and sufferings, blessings will surely come our way if what we are doing is the right thing to do for your own good and the good of everybody. you will surely feel the happiness after you have surpassed all the challenges that life gives us. a happiness that you have never imagined. always pray and ask for His guidance...

I agree with you there. the fact is you can never be truly happy with that mountain ahead of you. As long as it is there that is where your thoughts will be. Also when you overcome you are able to move on and your triumph can only take you to higher heights. Also when you overcome you gain courage and strength to deal with bigger things.
We were created to be over-comers and sitting in a corner while we lick our wounds and hold a pity party is just not the answer.
