Classical music has all along been my favorite music since my college years. I got addicted to classical music going to the orchestra of my college almost every month. I keep a collection of CDs of classical music now, Chopin, Johan Strauss, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, and more, and listen to them every evenining after getting back home from work. That is my way of relaxation now.

Whenever I study, I like hearing things that keep me awake and alert. Since the sound of rain, or classical music, makes me relaxed and ready for sleep... I avoid that. I usually listen to angry rock or some pop music. I know it doesn't help with concentration, but I use it as white noise to keep me alert. I don't really listen to it, or else I wouldn't be able to study.

I listen to Alternative, Classical, Jazz, some Country, and whatever I can get my hands on. If I can study and listen to it, then that is what I will do.
