fear as a child

What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child? I always thought something something would grab my leg as I went up the stairs from the basement.

I was scared of my battery-operated toys! I thought at night they would turn on by themselves and grabbed me! It was fun playing with them at noon, but at night they were all scary! Police car, ambulance, all toys that have siren on them!!!

I was worried that something was under my bed. I would turn out the light and then jump across the room to my bed just in case! lol! I always looked in the closet and under the bed and opened everything up before I went to bed. Even after checking under hte bed I'd jump half way across the room lol!

Ialways thought if i hung my foot over the edge of the bed something would grab it and pull me under.
