Do you think Internet is helpful or Destructive?

With the introduction of online banking,internet telephony and online instant shopping,I wonder what comes next! I love the internet and also know how to handle it judiciously. It has brought on a whole new dimension to my life. It has made life easier for me and given me access to the world at my fingertips. Of course the internet has positive as well as negative aspects. One has to be careful and at the same time enjoy the benefits of one of the most revolutionary inventions of the last century!

For me I would definately say that the Internet is very helpful and a Great way for people who want to earn some extra $$ being online network with others. It is also a Great way to meet many wonderful people from all over the world, and to give them a way to learn about so many different things. People also just need to learn to be cautious from the Scammers, etc. out there and have fun. To me being online is one of the Best things I have ever done.

i couldnt imagine my life without the internet now and i think in most cases, its good but of course there are those bad apples that twist everything around for bad and the internet is no exception.

I am into academic research in the field of artificial intelligence and internet is one of my major source of research material provider.TBH it depends from person to person some believe internet is evil and think those people belong to the generation of the 60s/70s who don't want the traditional methods to dry up b'cause they cant handle a mouse/keyboard so they criticize without even experiencing it first hand.I have been using Internet since I was 10 years old and went a lot pass by from windows 95,98,Me and XP to now working on windows vista .I have been attacked several times by malware and went through multiple disk formatting sessions but in the end I would say I love the internet and cant get enough of it.

well, for me internet is very important now a days. It is very helpful most specially when you need to research and rush something. It is very helpful to someone who is in business and also in soe students.

I appreciate the internet because it provides a high speed information and entertainment. Imagine, all the things that you need is now available through the internet. It can be use a communication to connect peoples idea. With or without the internet, i think people can steal or do bad things. That is the nature of man.

There's always two sides to everything---good and bad. Same for the internet. To me, it's good and bad and it's equal in the quantity. For the good side, the internet provides a lot of information and we can access almost everything from there. For the bad, it relates more to students and time management. The internet is a nightmare to parents, if you know what I mean. If you don't, let me explain. Nowadays, because of the advancement in everything especially since the development of the internet, children have since become more aware of everything and there are online games and social networking sites like Facebook for them to access and entertain themselves, which, all of these will contribute to their bad performance in school. Children and students don't manage their time well and therefore, all the internet activities have harmed them. In this case, it's destructive.

I agree, internet is one of the great inventions ever made.For me.... i think its how you use it.......if you are in too good hobbies,browsing or your using it for research,and work related internet is good.....but since there are lots of websites...there are sites that are harmful to us especially to kids .. it is really at the users how we control, and not use the internet to bad motives.....conscience, conscience ,conscience!

I think internet is great. Of course there are the viruses that can destroy all your work on the computer, but if you have a good internet service provider, and a good anti-virus you can forget about this problem. There is another problem on the internet, the people who want to scam us, the false buying sites that take our credit cards data and then steal our money. But over the internet you can meet new people, nice people, you can learn lots of stuff and can do almost all your work from home, pay taxes, buy things, watch movies, television, and so on. So i think i made my point, internet is a great invention, as long as we are careful with some security problems.

Internet makes the sharing of information possible for people from all walks of life. Anyway, internet contains also a lot of deceptive information that are untrue and is created for publicity. There, whether Internet is helpful or destructive depends on how you use it. Anyway, you will need to do some study and make sure that the source of information is from a reputable/trusted site before taking them as real.

That is absolutely depends on the person who use the internet. Everything has the same part of goodness and badness, and so is the internet. It has it's goodness, and has the badness either. What will you get from the internet, the bad or the good is depends on your manner when using it, on how wise or how reckless you treat it. If you use it wisely, then you will gain it's goodness, it's benefit, and you will find internet as a helpful and useful inventions. At the other side, if you use it recklessly, then sooner or later, you will gain it's badness, it's danger, and you will meet the internet as a destructive inventions. So, as I said earlier, it depends on the person who use it.

internet is best inventions for us... we can know abt the entire world .... in ancient days we cant hav tat facilities and all... for us internet one of the needed one however there will some cheating fellow doing to lose the nature of internet. as a marketing guy it internet is used 2 attract others

Anything has its pros and cons, Internet is not an exception, it is created by human, and used by human, it is both helpful and harmful, it all depends on people, don't just blame on the technique human create. If we do good things on it and know how to control ourselves using it, it will help you much on information, entertainment, etc. But if we use it for bad purposes, or can not manage ourselves and let internet affect you in the negative ways, it will be bad in the users' opinion. I myself think Internet is great as it does aid me a lot in my life. It gives me information, show me updates, keep me nearer to the world, enhance my knowledge, entertain me, support my business, etc. Tons of things Internet did help me and I really feel grateful to the creation of this advanced technique! For me the Internet is been beneficial in innumerable ways. I've learned so much on it, got my job thanks to it. Learned new skills and talked to people I could never talk to before. Plus I get my news on it too.

I think internet can be either good or destructive tool. It depends on how we use it, just like a knife or fire. As for me, internet is, of course, very useful. As a journalist internet helps me a lot, providing me with fast and up to date information. I can also get music or buy stuff without needing to go outside. And, can you imagine sending physical letters that takes one or two weeks to arrive? E-mail helps!

Internet can be destructive if used it to harm someone or do something evil into it. On the other hand, I agree with you that internet is the best inventions have ever made. Because we can so many things...

You're adsolutely right chiyosan. Making time faster and work shorter from home to school or office so it gives a lot of good things. Furthermore, almost all have two-ways, the pros and cons or the advantages or disadvantages so its depend upon the user if she/he do this helpful or destructive. We only take extra care on what were ours not to destroy others.

i think in most cases internet is very useful.i think it is the magic we got.just imagine you can talk with world just by seating in your home.you can find anything on the net.but overnetting is really harmful.but be on net but in the limit...!!

For me Internet is useful but the same time they are also destructive. Because some of the Internet user abuse the uses of Internet. It is useful for it provide Information your looking and use to communicate as well.

INTERNET for me is very important because when i have something to research ill just go to the internet to find information and answer to my problem....so that,. is how important and useful the internet to me, but it doesn't mean that whole of my life is very depend to the internet, but beside it has also negative effect to our life because of the misused to the internet and also to our physical body because of its radiation ....that is only for me........
