There are so many kinds of culture for wedding, and here in China, different city may have different culture. In my home Town, the new couple will eat some special things, like peanuts and jujube, in Chinese peanuts sounds a 'hua sheng', and people use its 'sheng' as the same meaning of ?, means ' give birth to', and jujube sounds 'zao', as the meaning of ?,means ' as early as' or ' in advance', that just shows that they hope the new couple will have a baby as early as possible. And also I heard from my friends that in a city, on the wedding night, they will find some boyfriends of the husband, all them will sleep with the new couple on the same bed, they say they just want to tell the husband to treat the bride well.
