We have been talking about the president all the time. But what about VP Jojomar Binay? Has he done anything yet since he was a VP? I haven't heard anything.

There are 3 things I remember about Binay after he won.
First, when he didn't follow the traffic signs, his car turned left at a No U turn sign. Second, when he requested to have the Coconut Palace to be the official office of the vice president. And lately, when he visited the new settlers in Rodriguez Rizal, and make sure that they get water & electricity installed as soon as possible.
The Vice President of the Philippines has no official responsibility other than those given by the President. He can be appointed to a cabinet position upon the discretion of the President. Binay was eyeing for the DILG Secretary but PNoy gave this to Jesse Robredo. And when PNoy went to an official visit to US, he did not appoint any Officer-In-Charge in his absence.
Geez! I wonder why they still have this position, if there are no specified responsibilities other than to be the next in line in the presidency?

I haven't heard any accomplishment of Binay as VP. I still don't like him. I didn't vote for him but since he won, I'm just waiting for him to prove himself. However, just as much as I'm one of the people who ask others to give P-Noy more time because it's too early to judge his performance, I also think the same for Binay. Let's wait and see...

As far as I know. VP binay, have no position in the cabinet, that is why he is limited to do anything but only in his office as vice president.
It is the worse position, in politics I think. Because it comes out that he only observer or wait and see...the best function he need to do at this time...
If we read the constitution. The function of vp, is very limited. He only acted as President, if the president, is on the trip or sick. But unless the president, appoint him as acting president...the case in our country most executive secretary, will be appointed in those position...
Have a great day!

Well there is an issue about a real estate company globe asiatique, they discover an anomaly with their transaction involving Pag-ibig and their members. I think they kept it quiet because they are also investigating former VP Noli de Castro. Binay i think is handling that matter.

I think nothing yet so far. he has been so quiet all the while since he was put into the position. all eyes and ears are concentrated to P-Noy. Well infact it should be both of them solving the problems of the country and helping out each other even though they belong to a different party. But before it is good to know that they have been both an opposition.
