I just watched the movie Knowing last night. Im not going to say much about the movie, so if you havent seen it, but Its about the world ending. In the movie only two kids get to survive... a boy and a girl, of course. They get new planet to live on. I hope when our world ends that we have another planet, but I hope more people get to go to it. All the good people would be nice. well, not nice, but as nice as it could be. How do you think the world will end, or if you could choose how It would end how would it happen?

Hi Ambitiouslyleiah, I watched the movie too. But I didnt appreciate the way they ended the whole thing. Actually the aliens turning the saviors part just didnt gel with the story that was shaping up so brilliantly. Anyways, as the discussion is not about the movie, let me come to replying your query. I feel that the world would not end as we think. If by the end of world you mean the end of mankind, I believe that we would die killing all others and those who survive would die of loneliness. But if you ask about the planet Earth, hmmm, it would end up the way they showed in Knowing - Sun would either burn it to ashes or the sun would become a black hole and pull the earth inside.

Hmm, I meant the end of earth not necessarily the end of the world. I like to believe that if some where to survive that wed find a way to live, and basically start over somehow. Thanks for reply

I think if the world is destroyed it will man who does it, probably nuclear or god knows what other secret weapons they have now. I don't know how I would hope it would end but I hope if it ever ends, it would be quick and painless for all and we wouldn't see it coming!

I agree with this, even though I hate it. Its like our biggest enemy is ourselves.

Hi. Ambitiouslyleiah. I don't want to think about how the world will end. I wished that it would not end. I just wished that all of the good people could just live forever. I thought that this movie ended very sadly. The kids went to another planet. I could not just sit and watch my kids get taken from me like that. And then I stay, and the world ends with me in it. This movie ended in a bad way!~ I would never ever want to be in a world that ended in this way.

I have watched Knowing and it was good up to a point. The aliens are at it again and ruining a movie that could have held it's own without them If the world ends it better be all fireworks and light shows because we will all have a front row and I for one don't want to be disappointed

hi personally, i don't want the world to end, despite the fact that there are those sad memories that i have experienced in my life while living in this world, however, generally, the world is still a place worth living for...if only people will learn to understand one another and take good care of the things around us, this place will be a better place that it is right now...i don't want it to be ended, for i still want my children, my grandchildren and they children to experience how good it is living in this beautiful world...but if i really have to choose, then i would leave everything to the almighty one, he who created this world has the only right to end it..

If only mankind cared more about it maybe it wouldn't have to all end... I agree. this is very sad but true.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this movie. For some reason I expected it to be very poor but I really enjoyed the movie. And this is coming from someone, who is quite critical of movies.
