I am from Vietnam too, so for me, rice is one main point in all meals. People could make, cook rice into many special foods. Especially, I think what make vietnamese rice famous all over the world is the dish that created from rice. Its name is Pho (Vietnamese Rice Noodle Soup - another name) Pho are springing up all over the place, They're even infiltrating hardcore ethnic enclaves . A good bowl of pho is built on the clarity, freshness and flavor of the broth. Secondly it's judged by the thinness of the rice noodles. Thirdly by the freshness of the plate of veggies served with it and the condiments set out on the table. Last but not least is the quality of the meat. There are many varieties of pho, depending on whether you want it topped with well-done brisket,raw steak,tendon , tripe or increasingly, chicken. Many vietnamese and foreign people love Pho and see it like their delicious dish in the daily menu. P/s: If anyone who know Vietnamese language, please research the word "Pho" carefully and don't misunderstand what i say :|

Hello, I am Vietnamese too but I am not from Vietnam. I was born and raised in the United States. I do have family in Vietnam though. Agriculture is very important in Vietnam, I agree. I eat Vietnamese rice often - goes well with a lot of types of food. Here, we have Vietnamese grocery stores so we buy them there along with other foods from Vietnam.

I know the agriculture in Vietnam is very important. And your country has good rice. But I am not sure whether I have tried it at all. Here usually the Thai rice is popular. I love China

Oriental food in general is very good, although I have a hard time distinguishing between the different kinds. It is often hard to tell which particular country a dish comes from, but I have rarely been disappointed when I have tried oriental food. I like some of the hotter oriental foods as well...

Vietnam, is one of the importer of rice. The truth is that most of the rice imported to the Philippines, are coming from vietnam. I don't enjoy those rice, my friend. Because it is a regular consumption for every Filipinos. It is good to have rice, but I can't feel enjoying. Our rice is much better than your rice, I think. Because they are not hard as those rice that commercialized in our country... Have a great day!

Yeah! Vietnam has known is a country export second lagest rice ASIA , after Thailand.It's very tasty. But it doesn't popular as Thailand rice.
