I have many dreams in my life, but hardly any of them can come true. I give up so much things that I like because I think I cannot make it come true. I give up because I think it's not the suitable time to make it come true, it will another time, not now. I will continue to do my favorite things whenever I have another chance, so "give up" in my opinion is something that I can't do right now, and I put it in the waiting list, and I will continue with them whenever I have another chance. What about you? How do you thinking about it?

Give up what ??? what do you give up that is really important. I don't decide to hate term "Give up" if I don't know what is about ! For example: I love "Give up" if it 's a bad habit or something fool, something old, something cheat But I will never give up to make something hidden dark to be clear. Although "Never give up someone dream" is somehow feeling good but if that dream never comes true, it need changing direction to not waste time, money and spirit.:))

I agree with you about it. So I say that, I put it in my waiting list and returen whenervr I have chance because I don't want to waste time for what I can do now. I am planing for the future, not right now.

If i have to tell you how many times i felt like giving up, sweetie, you will think i am nuts or something. But i have learned to give up won't get you anywhere. Just keep it up and as you have said, put it on the waiting list. But beware not to forget about those things on your list and don't ever skip one of them. TATA.

I know, I will put it in my list and waiting for my chance. I will check it regularly becasue if I don't do it, I will forget it and everything about my dreams won't happen. It's so good to read your opinon.

Thank you sweetie. Just don't make that list to long, okay. That is when we tend to ignore some of them. Luck. TATA.

If I have cherished something to achieve in any point of my life, I do try with all positive spirit and determination.I hardly get upset and unnerved if thing goes against my wishes. I accepts the outcome of my action as the decision of God and review the situation before pursuing it in the same path. If necessary, I may fully give it up and make entirely new dream. If needed, I may renew my effort and plan to reach my goal fixed earlier. Thanks.

I don't want to say give up. It's not on my vocabulary. Sometimes I think to give up on the things that I do cause it feels to me pain or gives me burden. But I don't want to think or say it to myself that I'd give up. I hate to say giving up.

I hate giving up. I attempted to give up many times before in the past, but I always end up getting back on my feet and working hard again. It takes some time though, so I guess my definition of giving up is similar to yours.

Yeah, I think we have something in common. In th past, I always say to myself, I will never give up in anything although it's so hard to do; but now, I change my mind, I will do anything that I can do now, and the things I can't do, I am waiting another chance to make it again until I can do it.

If you want to achieve something you should not give up.You should work hard and strive so that you will achieve it and always believe in yourself that you can do it.Giving up is an attitude of a loser.

Yeah, I will thinking about your ideas. Some of your friends say it's not give up, but giving in, what do you think about it. What is the meaning of "giving in". Can you explain it for me?

Yes you are certainly right. Never give up. Most often people give up for things they want to achieve. You may not know it but just a few steps more you are already there. I know there are things that are really hard to do or achieve, but as you go no with life, you have to remember that those people who are successful in life are those that have failed yet continued to move on. It remembers me of what Einstien said... He discovered one thousand and one ways how not to make a light bulb. In other words, he tried so many times until he succeeded. So go on with your dreams and enhance that determination...

Yes, I hate the term "give up." I've got a motto, "I've given up of giving up!" When I am doing something and I cannot make it, I will learn and work my way around it. If I still cannot do it, means I have to give in and change course. But it does not mean giving up. Giving up means we want to stop, but giving in means we pause, look around and learn how to deal with the situation, and work our way around it. Besides, giving up is also forbidden in my religion.

I look at the term ‘giving up’ in two ways. There is giving up control to the Universe and stop trying to achieve desired results and that is a good thing. The Universe or God will allow the best outcome for each person if we learn to stop standing in the way by taking control ourselves. The other way to look at ‘giving up’ is to stop trying to achieve our dreams. I think it is wise to put our dreams and aspirations in God’s hands as long as we are still holding onto the dream. It is a matter of balance. If you don’t succeed at first I don’t believe in giving up but to keep trying...

Hi luukimlong, Hummmm! give up is not an easy task its very very painful,to do so b'coz in the middle of the river its better to cross it over otherwise the same labor has to be applied,so theres no use to go back and give up. Persistence, patience and bit of financial cost is what takes to be successful, its a game of survival, a competition and such stuff. In my case whenever I have given up its due to the engagement to something new where by its becomes difficult to make time for the old one. Happy mylotting

I don't like to see people say they give up. giving up is losing hope. If we lose hope, what are we able to achieve? Giving up should never be the solution to a problem. it is just an obstacle we have to over come.

May be you are right, but if you can't do it this time, will you give up it to wait another time. I think is would be. GIve up sometime not bad like someone think, it's a chance for you to thinking something carefully and find the soltuion. It's my opinon about it.

I wanted to improve in this area. I have been to a lot of trials in my life and the best out I chose is to give up. I have been to 10 companies already. My first job is as psychologist for detained minors. The experience was traumatic and I stayed there for only 7 months. Married police courted and I was just 24 y.o. There was a riot and I was in the middle of it. I brought the hurt minors to hospital and then I fainted. I resigned after 7 months. My other job, with BPO, was as a trainer. I had developed manuals, training programs but after 4 months, there are still no budget for said training. I cannot wait any longer and so I resigned again. Now, I am in a company for 7 months. The job is so demanding but I wanted to stay longer for now. I want to prove to myself that I can commit. I guess "giving up" is not a healthy choice. That's why I want to improve on it.

I think giving up easily is very easy especially if you think of it every single day. I hate the word because it's a negative term. We must and should replace it with encouraging words instead. Nothing is impossible if only we believe it will definitely happen.

You know my friend. This terms will be used to denote hope. We can say "don't give up" to encourage someone to success or to have hope. Have a nice day!

I have learned as I have gotten older not to give up on things bc rather you relieze it or not there is someone watching you and looking up to you especially if you have children and that only teaches them not to follow thru on things in life. When you have children it makes a difference when you have to pay $500 for Karate Dance Football etc you going to want them to follow thru. Like with me I'm a Health and Wellness Consultant for Ardyss International its not a 9-5 it networking but its even more challenging. I havent stopped though bc my 12 year brother has business cards made up flyers and goes door to door trying to make money mowing lawns washing cars raking leaves and helped him with the business card and flyers what type of example what I be setting for him.
