Guidance for intra day trading in shares

Hi, I am new to intra day trading. I am not a regular trader. I trade only on days i am free. I am not using any trading application for it. ?Just the web browser. I want to know how regular traders do their tradings. How much profit they make in each trade? How many trades they do on a single day? What are the different strategies for trading? It would be more helpful if people who trade in Indian shares explain these as it will be difficult and different if it is from other countries. Still all the comments/suggestions are welcome.
