whenever i face the public, like when i`m reporting in our class, i always feel nervous and my hands are shaky...i utter words with a trembling voice and i when i`m finished, i can`t remember what exact words i`ve said. but i believe that those who listened to me have understood what i`ve talked about. any suggestion on how i could overcome my stage fright?

I feel the same. When i was in college i thought that all my classmates are more intelligent than I am. And they already know what I am talking about. Thinking what they are saying while I'm on stage. If I'm good enough or not. But all of this was answered when I found my best friend who I know who is very intelligent. Not all of the things she also knew. And she also feel the same. She is so shy every time she's talking on stage. But experience and confidence is a must. You must be proud and prepared each time your going up on stage. Don't mind all the people around you. Because your ready and good enough than them. You can make it! Do your best. Lift yourself up. But before all of these ask God's help. Good luck!

i feel the same way to you.
you know i can sing but when i'm nervous, my voice is trembling. that's why i only sing in our videoke.
i remember we had a mini concert for one of our subject. and i sang and slightly dance and i can say it was successful because i cannot see the crowd for it was night and dark. i thought i just sing because i want to. no one is watching. but of course i can hear their shout outs. :D

yes, I can't believe that there is someone who is like me. I can relate with your problem but face your fear. Join any competition that facing a lot of people. Like dancing, singing, modeling and so on. I'm so happy to talk to you by the way.

First, take a very deep breath. Then, smile at your audience. Lessen your pace when talking in front of class because the faster the more nervous you will be.
