To all the moms out there do you prefer cloth diapers or disposable ones? I just want to know what works for you and why you use one or the other. If you claim cloth please share what kind you use/prefer and why. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I had always used disposable diapers for my four children. I do not think you really save anything by using cloth as you either have to wash them yourself or send them out to a service. I never compromised when it came to diapers. They are much more sanitary so your infant does not usually get diaper rashes. Most disposable diapers are so well made that they haul the wet away from baby's bottom and baby sleeps through the night..so fewer rashes and more sleep for mom. I know they are not as environmentally safe as cloth but I think the rewards for baby out weigh this by far.

I did try them with one of my children but gave up on it very quick. I have to admit some of the reason I didn't like cloth was I had four children, three which were very close in age and was kept very busy and cloth diapers were honestly too much work and with raising four children I did not have the finances to send them out to be cleaned. The disposable diapers that I found the best were Huggies and Pampers.
