theatre auditions

It's been a couple years since I've actually gone to an audition. So of course, it's been a while since I've done a show. I'm just having difficulty getting the motivation to go to auditions. I think that's the hardest part of an audition is getting the motivation to do it.
What is the most difficult part for you?

I live with my boyfriend who is a fabulous actor. Although he doesn't get much work sometimes, he is at it trying over and over again.
I suppose you just have to continue to remember the reason why you chose this as a career. The answer to that normally would boost his motivation to continue to try all over again.
