I think that would be a good idea, the only thing is I already have a lot of books I need to read already. We also don't have the money to get a particular book, and though we could go to the library the thing is that we may not all be able to find the book, and it might not be translated into other languages. I think it'd be better if we could broaden our horizons and just explain a book we are reading and then give people the choice to get it or not, that way we can also expand our library.

Hi,caecal07!
Yeah,I think it is a great idea.We can organize a group and make a list of worth-reading books. And after we finish reading one,we can have a discussion here and express our thoughts.
But I think there might be a little problem.Take me as an example,I'm a Chinese. And I haven't read many English books. And most of Chinese books I've read don't have English names. And many English books are not available here.My foreign teacher once recommended me a book, but I couldn't find it in any bookstore or online. And it's really a little bit frustrating.
Maybe we can try first and see where it goes.
Have a nice weekend!

While I love this idea, I think it might be difficult to find books that everyone is interested in since Mylot is such a HUGE community. I love the idea of Book discussions being an interest (hint, hint MYLOT) and within that interest we could start threads about books and if you like the book, you read it and we discuss.
