Friendship to last forever

Friendship to lasts should be coupled with open communication, trust, patience , understanding, etc. Good friend is somebody whom you can share good or bad times.

I don't think it matters your goals in life, and I don't think that you have to see each often. The most important thing about friends is that it doesn't matter where the two of you are, or how long is has been since you last saw each other, but if either of you needed anything, the other one would be there. I have a best friend who lives miles and miles away from me and we only see each other maybe a couple of times per year. But, I know that if I needed her, she would come up here or I would be able to go to hers and be made very welcome. That's what having a best friend is all about.

Friendship is blessed one. And a good friend is also blessed one. A good friend is like "A Friend in need is a Friend indeed". Sometimes friends became a devil. Some friends is cheated his friends. I have so many friends but some friends are not a good friends. In my lot of friends one or two friends is my best friends.

I think the key to lasting friendship is being understanding, thoughtful, loving and caring. Understand little shortcomings of a friend, she may just seem to be busy so you seldom see each other. Be thoughtful, greet her on her birthday, give her affordable little things on Christmas and valentines or in any other occasions. Show her you care, by calling her and knowing how is she. Visit her in case she or any family member is sick. By doing these, she would reciprocate your kindness that would create great bonding, thus the friendship would last.

I think to have a lasting friendship, you also have to be clear and honest with each other about everything. Since it is a relationship, people need to give and take as well. :)
