Hard to believe? Well a study by Spanish researchers in CREAL on effect of swimming in pools that are heavily chlorinated. The result of their study was this: "The evidence of genotoxic effects were observed in 49 healthy adults after swimming for 40 minutes in a chlorinated indoor pool" ... Imagine that! But they say that if the pool has low levels of disinfectant chemicals then it is safe. But I wouldn't risk my health just to swim on the pool. Now I would think twice or even 3 times before jumping on the swimming pool! What do you think? Would you still swim swim in the pool after reading this? Here is a link to an article I found just in case you thought I was lying. http://www.creal.cat/en_noticies/view.php?ID=61

Like what the news said, the problem exists if there is too much disinfectant chemicals (chlorine) used in the pool. But if you own the pool then you can surely control what you put in your pool. That way you wont be at risk at all.
