Does anyone have a Facebook fan page?

So I see that more and more Facebook fan pages are started all the time. Does anyone on MyLot have their own fanpage for something? Do you feel that it is useful? And is there any way to monetize fanpages? How do you market them?
I do not have a fanpage of my own so far, but I am very curious about them, so this is why I am asking....

I have a Facebook fanpage however I haven't monetized it yet. You can promote your affiliate links when you write a new post and also you can create a facebook application and link it to your fan page so that you will be able to monetize your fanpage. Hope this helps :)

Cool! What is it about? Maybe you should look into monetizing it a bit more at some point in the future then?
