The popularity of English

What do you think about the popularity of English ? Now, English became second language in most countries. And some people, especially students forgot mother language.That sh!t ! What do you think ?

I enjoy english. I started learning it when moving to NZ, but I still stay on top of my mother language...at least the speaking of it.

English is indeed popular. I my country, English is combined with mother language and teenagers consider it cool. I'm a little upset about this. It's okay and it's good people learn English, but they should give more love and use to their country's language.
