now, there are debate about who is deserve to be a captain for MU after Giggs and Gary neville can not be hoped as captain.
Rio Ferdinand as second captain is always got injured.
SAF always stated that he is only wanting a player who play constant and reguler as captain.

That is a very interesting decision. Last year Vidic and SAF had a running war going between each other which was sorted out by the end of the year. I think this is also a sign that the off field dalliances could have cost Rooney the captaincy.
All the other midfielders in the team are not yet confirmed their position and Evra showed how bad a captain he can be with the French team.
Cheers!

The problem is that currently there does not seem to be a good answer to that question. Vidic is probably the best of the lot if Rio and Neville are not available. Amongst the rest only Rooney and Vandersar have fixed spots in the team currently. Rooney after his dalliance with affairs would not be a right pick, and Vandersar is too old to hold the position for long.
Cheers!

I was thinking about this and i have mentioned about vidic to u in your previous discussion..
I hope english skipper ferdinand would be made, but vidic was the second chance left, so he was picked for the position..
We are happy for him..
He is so excellent and can control the game and the opponent's strikers!!

I think that Vidic is one of the best defenders in the world and he deserves the captain band. A captain has to be a player who plays regularly and the whole game, has authority amongst his teammates and has a decent performance on the field and that with regularity. I know that Vidic is a first team pick at Manchester and that he performs well during games, the only thing I don't know if he has authority in the team. But if he has, then I believe that Ferguson has made a good decision, although I would have picked Scholes as a captain.

I totally agree with it. since vidic is well known MU tactical strategy and less-selfish type of person and He absolutely able to encourage younger player since MU now days are recruiting lots of young players.
