Dress to impress..or NOT?

I'm on many social sites and I know many people try to find a soul mate "sometimes" on these sites. I find alot of women like to show off all they have when they put their avatar, pictures on..meaning they have pics with low neck tops, tight jeans, short skirts,dresses and I have to admit most look good...BUT WHY????? I mean dont you want to attract someone for your miind,heart, what you can offer?..looks fade away in time but your personality is for life...ladies stop trying to attract men with your bodies your setting yourself up for the WRONG kind of man...maybe i'm wrong but just my thoughts...i'm not saying its happenng on this site but i'm talking social sites in general...can I have some feed back on this please, do you agree if not thats ok too. looking forward to your opinons on this...this has bugged me for many years...and i'm sure there are some that will say oh your just jealous but for the record i've been told by many i'm attractive so dont even go there hahahaha....thanks peeps...HUGS!

You are right in that gjax57.. it is so... superficial so to speak. Their main objective is to attract attention in the hope of having a relationship. But then... it is a risk, you might end up in flesh-seeking people only. Now that youve mentioned it, what do i look in my profile then? Am i decent enough? How come i am not attracting anyone??!!! hahahah!

haha gjax. i just happen to be quite choosy with the people i add in my list. If one of them insults me i would automatically take them off my list because friends are supposed to support each other. We can all have different ideas here and i wouldnt mind at all if someone objects my opinion, they just have to be careful in stating it.

First impressions do count! You will need to dress good and smart too, if you want to impress anyone. If you dress like a slob, you will be considered one! Not very long ago there used to be dress code for every imaginable occasion just to guide the very impressionable young adults to the finer points of dressing right for an occasion. Now that the decision is yours, please be careful and take a smart decision. All the regret later is not going to lessen the hurt.

I hear what your saying web but to me thats kinda sad :(...I mean you can find/get someone who dresses to the max and turn out to be THE biggest jerk or you can see someone who doesnt dress as well and they can have a heart of gold...now which would you choose?..i'm just saying that at the end of the day it would be nice to have thought I picked someone for who/what they said, made me feel, as appossed to someone who had nice clothes on..hmmm maybe i'm not making sense here lol...I guess my point is dont go by looks..talk to the person learn whats inside...give them a chance!!...dont judge until you hear their story...ok i'ma zipping it now...

I know what you mean.I guess some people are insecure who do that, but I don't know.. Probably tons of reasons people feel they have to look sexy in order to get a freind/boyfriend/girlfriend.. I don't look at what a person looks like I want to get to know them and look into there hearrt. To me that is what counts the most.. Whats inside a person.. When two people can touch eachothers heart then that is when you find true love or a true friend..
