Friday Night Ritual

Watching a movie on Friday night is one ritual that I am trying to get back into. I think that it is a nice way to "wrap up" the week, so to speak.
On tap for last night: "Twilight." I'd read the book series, but I hadn't yet seen the movie. My boyfriend happened to have it in his stack of DVDs, and it seemed a good lightweight choice after a long week.
Do you have a Friday night movie (or other) ritual? Do you maintain some sort of movie night?

Movie night is an excellent idea. Things change often for me so it is difficult to plan a specific day or time for anything and maintain it for very long. I do love watching movies though and on weekends I check the movie channels to see what's coming on.

I wrap up each night with a Lifetime movie in bed while I also read. That's about the extent of my movie watching.

There for a while my husband and I's movie night has always been Thursday. This is when we usually go find a RedBox and find a rental or 2 we are interested in and enjoy. Makes a great way for a date night as well.

Hi wilsongoddard, I spend more time on watching tv series than movies. I watch tv series almost everyday. At least one to watch together with my husband in the afternoon in weekdays. I would like to watch two series which consuming about an hour in night time. I would watch movie in weekends only, for it's rather time consuming to watch a single movie, especially comparing that to watch in the cinema.
For the sake of saving time I prefer to watch online movie. Moreover, there are lots of preferences to watch online at home. We would visit to the nearby cinema only when my son is back to hometown. It's sure that there would be lots of fun to get together with our dear ones watching movie and eating out in weekend night
Happy posting

Friday night has always been my movie night since I was a child. I always watch horror flicks on Friday night, they have always been my favorite. Guess I never lost that staying up late watching horror flicks stage many teens go through, LOL. I have seen Twilight, it is a good movie but not what I'd really call a horror flick, it is more of a romance than anything, but it was interesting.

hi wilson just checked and am I embarrassed as all this time I was going oh wilsons a guy and then I saw oh was I wrong.usually I
do check profiles as just occasionally yo need to know the gender when responding . I do not have a movie night as I am on a limited
budjet and after rent and food are paid , then my cable internet and landline phone paid I cannot afford to get a television sad b ut tre.
but when my husband was alive we started a ritual of friday night
was our night out and grandma babysat our two. then when they were
a little older we just took them out with us. and to my joyh our starting to take our little ones out to eat taught them to behave nicely while in a restaurant so w hen they were preteens they still
were perfectly behaved in a restaurant. I have seen kids come up
to me and ask what thats you eating and one had the nerve to gra a spoon and eat a bite off my plate before his parents got hiom back to their owntable. the spoiled little brat.wow
