What does 'Howdy' means !! ????

It means the same as Hello or Hi. It is just a silly greeting people often use when they are joking and having fun with their friends. It is considered a friendly way to say Hello. Hope this helps. :)

It just means Hello or Hi Or Hey. Howdy is just another way of greeting another person, and usually people from the southern states of the US use this. I myself as well as my husband use this expression.

its just another slang word coming from the western parts of USA meaning hello or hi, in an upbeat happy friendly way. sorry we have sooooo many silly slang (different) words made up here in usa that seems to catch on and make our "english" quite confusing. ive heard our language is the hardest to learn because of all the different slang, dielects, and accents. but you are doing so great. good to have a friend like you that puts forth good effort.

You will get the "hang"(slang for getting use to it)of it as you continue to use it in your everyday speech. There are many little pocket dictionaries that can help you with the regular and slang words that are use in the English language. English is a foreign language to you, but I think it is easy to learner than other foreign languages. Before I graduate from college I have to take two semesters of a foreign language, but I have yet to decided which will be easiest to pass, so I will be in your shoe, (slang again)next semester. This is a slang language used by the english speaking countries specially by the US.....they have cut short all the sentences. Howdy means...How is/was your day??? I wanna means I want to....gonna for going to...and so on.

howdy is as good as saying hi or hello. others may have some other meaning to that but i think the bottom line of saying that word is just greeting a person and your glad that you have seen that person. well thats what i think. good day.
