internet boyfriend or girlfriend?

This is definitely possible but very risky. It's better that you know that person personally. I know that love is based on trust but how can you love someone whom you don't know, meaning you haven't meet before. I remember watching a show titled Queer Eye and the guy having a make over is gonna meet his internet girlfriend for the first time in like how many years (I forgot the exact data but I think 1-3 years). He said they were always sweet online but then when the day arrived that they're gonna finally meet (which is shown on television), It's like they're completely strangers (I hope its not scripted), but of course that is just one instance, the only thing I could say is go for what you believe in as long as you're not hurting anybody.

My dear i dont know if it is i goota say. But as for me when i was in he university i used it for hook ups i aint gonna lie, I mean facebook then was a site to meet people and people especially singles were always meeting to hook up and get hooked. If you really want an affair look around you,dont go looking through the internet,what you get there sometimes is a one night stand or a 2months relationship.I have been there ,had a lot and the experience is ok,but if you relly wanna settle doen dont go looking for it on the internet.

Absolutely I believe it can be possible, however I also believe extra caution and care must be taken as we never truly know who is on the other side of the screen. See even in reality we truly do not know the person until we get to know them as time goes by.

ya they are succesful in real life but the succesful percentage is quite small.. i have seen many cases of succesfull relationships through internet... but seen more than that which are not successful.. they are just good to hav a short period relations not a long life relations... its all depends upon the understanding between two persons..

I never believe because we never get a good picture about her or his behaviour through internet. Its only a kind of passion so i will not belive internet relationships. And i have lot of friends in internet but none of them are not good friends.

It is possible to have an internet affair but I would not try. The internet is not really a safe environment you do not know who is behind the internet.

I do believe we can actually find true relationship in the Internet. To me, Internet is just another media for us to meet some new friends. You might meet a new friend in school, at work, or anywhere. Internet is just another place. Though many people said there are many liars in Internet. Liars are actually all around, they do not only exist in the Internet. I have some friends did meet their partners in the Internet, and they are having good relationship. I do meet some nice friends in the Internet too.

A vast majority doesn't work out, but I know of a few couples who made their relationship online and made it work out. Keep in mind they lived an hour away from each other, so It started online but progressed to real life.

It is possible to have an internet affair. However, I do not feel that it is safe because you never know who you are talking since you can obviously lie behind a computer.
