We try to unplug evrything not in use. Even when dvd players and tv's are off they use some electricity. We have also changed most of our bulbs to compact fluorescent ones. This may give you ideas...http://www.energyhog.org/?gclid=CMXi3KC804gCFQlrSQodJUgMOQ

To conserve the world's energy resource.
Turn on my air-con only when I am about to go to sleep.
Turning off the fan when I leave the room.
Using energy-conserving bulbs

Yes I do. In the first place to safe me some money at the electricity bill. I don't like it when people waste electricity for nothing. It also is good for the world and all that lives on it.

I wait until the weather is really hot to turn on a/c. Sometimes I hang out laundry. My big thing is that I have changed all the light bulbs to compact fluorescent, they use a lot less. I save energy, not necessarily electric, by using a matress pad that is electric, and warm, then I turn the heat down a lot lower. We do not heat our upstairs where the bedrooms are. When I buy new appliances I check their energy ratings, and buy the best I can.

Yes. Turn off lights, caulk around the windows, weatherstripping around the doors and I keep the thermostat turned down on the furnace, turned up for the a/c. We have extra blankets on the beds during the winter. Flannel sheets are warmer than regular sheets too.

I do laundry and run the dishwasher at night. I try to keep the lights off and I don't cook at the prime times.

Well I've always been good at not leaving lights burning and stuff like that, so I don't think I can save any more than I do. But yes, it's something I think about.
