I think we should all drink as many glasses of water as we need. Usually when I first get up I drink 2-4 glasses as feel the need. Sometimes before supper I repeat this procedure. If I feel thirsty during the day then I will drink more. Usually I don't. I do not drink anything else but water except on rare occasions. Water is what is plentiful on the earth so that is I will drink. If I find a river that is made of something else then I will be surprised. But I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables raw so I get plenty of what I call "living water."

I am drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day exclusive of other natural juices I extracted from my juicer. Great feeling afterwards.

Hm, I am not sure, because I drink from bottles. I drink around 2 litres of water every day, in 0.5 litre bottles (I refill it 4 times during the day). Not sure how much that is in glasses though!
I have to admit I don't really love it though, but I force myself to do it anyway, since I know it is good for me!

You are very self-dicipline. You know what is good for yourself and you try to stick with it until it become your habbit although you don't like it at first. I do hope I can learn from you...

Definately will bring good to our health rather than bad (which it never come into my mind before). Human body is made up by 80% of water...so, what do think if our body does no have enough water supply....

I don't like tasteless water. So,I drink green tea instead of it.
I remembered green tea was good for health. But I don't think I do it if 8 glasses of plain water must be drunk every day.
Becasue I have no more time to drink due to I am so busy.I think most people can't do it.

If there is a choice between green tea and water, I'll prefer green tea....just prefer something with taste....even a very slight one...

I always drink that amount of water. I find that it makes my skin clear and smooth, and it does wonders to my moods and general health as well. Drinking that much water makes you much less likely to get ill than if you didn't drink it.
It works just as well if you mix it with fruit juice as well, you should keep your water bottle with you at all times and take a sip from it every couple of minutes. If you do that, you will eventually get used to drinking that amount of water without it seeming like a huge amount to drink.

Yes it is very hard to take just water all the time. But when I dont take sufficient water, my lips and throat become very dry and I have to have water. I started the habit of taking at least 10 glasses of water only when I was found to have kidney stones. Fortunately they were very small and could be flushed out of my body by drinking lots of water.
If you find it difficult to have water at one go, keep a bottle beside you and keep sipping once in every 15 minutes or so. Not much, just a mouthful or half. If that does not work, take watery buttermilk or fresh fruit juice with lots of water added to it. It does not mean that you have to just have plain water all the time. Having fruits which have a high water content is also as good as having water. Have a glass of water before and after your meals or snacks. Even if you take three meals and snack once a day, does it not make 8 glasses?

water is the single most important thing that our body needs. a healthy adult need 3 to 4 litres of water a day. out of which 1-1.5 litres is supplied by the food we eat. rest of the water needs to be fulfilled by outside. a normal glass measures 300 ml so to take 2 litres of water you need to have 7-8 glasses per day of water. the best way to do this is double your intake. if you drink one glass try drinking half a glass more this way your daily water need will be fulfilled.
